Combine with the fact that even the most renewable method of wild seeds only gives 2 xp per thing picked up or trees which take a lot longer to grow for a total of 16 xp per tree and its stump.
And the 6 hardwood stumps in the secret forest only giving 150 xp total. As each stump is 25 xp. It takes a lot longer to level foraging than other skills
