We all start somewhere! I recommend using the winter time to make the most out of designing your farm

There's a website I recommend using first as well to plan it all out first

That's why you have to take your time. It's hard to make good money in early game, that why getting ur levels up helps, I focus on getting my forage up bcs it unlocks the Tappers and those make decent money even tho they're slow

I mostly plant only 15 crops as it doesn't take too much of your energy when watering, and the parsnip make good money when u don't have much money to buy the other crops too

15 crops is also a special number because you have risk of a crow eating crops after first 15

So if u can't make Scarecrow yet, don't plant more than 15

I always get the price catalogue from the book seller too, as it tells you for how much everything sells, but like we all said, just takes your time and enjoy the game at your own pace

my advices to new players is always just to play at your own pace, dont stress about time limits cause you cant miss anything too important, and play how you want; there is no wrong way to play!!

the community center is a good place to start, it unlocks on day 5 onwards if you enter town from the bus stop, between 8am - 1pm! and fishing while you wait for crops to grow is a great way for making money early game !

Me, personally, would wait for the crops to grow, but honestly, it depends on what crop you're growing. If it's a one time harvest, yes, if it's something like potatoes, blueberries, or any other good moneymaking crop, no.

Say, if I idle everyday doing nothing for 10 years with level 1 tools, could I be locked in my farm with all paths out blocked by meteors/tress I couldn't break/cut?

You have to be very lucky/unlucky to have that...need like 3 meteors placed at the exits

Even with level 1 tools you could get resources to make bombs and a artifact spawn could get you a beach or mountain totem
