Kind of all. So i believe u can catch most fish/quality of fish on any rod besides training rod. But its difficult and more unlikely the worse your rod/level/bait/bobber. For some special fish (legendary fish) u need specific fishing levels, and to buy the best rods u also need high fishing levels. These rods allow u to use bait and bobbers which increase different things like amount of fish caught, how easy it is to catch fish etc. But main way to increase quality is through perfect catches

And aside from legendary fish pretty much all fish can be caught on any level its just really hard. Increasing fishing levels also increases the size of the fishing bar making it easier

im debating on whether or not i should prioritize an extra row of inventory or afiberglass rod, because if i get the rod ill get the 2k for the row way easier, whereas if i get the inventory slots getting another 2k for the rod will be kinda painful

at the start 80 is plenty, beyond that youll run into more energy issues
