Early game, when you haven't reached level 6 farming or haven't reached floor 80, is the perfect time to make regular sprinklers.

Once you've made regular sprinklers, there's no reason to throw them away other than 'aesthetics' or 'you literally have 1000 crops so you're running out of space'

Regular sprinklers are absolutely incredible early game. You stop crafting them pretty soon, yes, but for the period before you're able to craft quality sprinklers they're absolute lifesavers
