If you've unlocked the ||desert, Starfruit with deluxe Speedgro||. Otherwise, Melon with DSG is good. Blueberry is always decent. Hops are also very good, but require more effort once grown since they need to be harvested daily.

Eat fish for energy to keep fishing, plant parsnips for energy, at least 40 strawberry crops for farming experience in spring 1 so you get to farming 6 or close to it by summer

salmonberries are worthless, so use them for energy too

stuff like that

suppose something that might also qualify is that you never lose all that much by staying out all night, just don't usually get a full energy refill, so sometimes it's worthwhile to keep going instead of going home to sleep

They "find" truffles, which afaik just spawns in the area where they are. Without mods, they can only appear in an open tile without grass or pathing.

I had to download a mod, Better Truffles, which allows the game spawn (or the pigs to find) truffles even on grass and tile pathings.
