you can take hay out of your silos via coops and barns and store it in chests

there is a lot to meta-game in stardew if you want to, but spouses, nope
unless you were trying to marry someone asap, in which case hum, someone with an early birthday probably, especially if you can take them to the flower dance
you can theoretically take anybody to the flower dance but it takes a bit of luck to do so
talk to them every day, get high quality gifts, and maybe a notice or two ;p

It is kind of finnicky because if you have that to be a thing, the host could just jump on and then be on an entirely different season
Whereas in Minecraft, it doesn't matter day or night.
