Try to not waste any time, like theres no point going to sleep at 6pm when you could go collect more wood or fish etc. This doesnt fully matter though because theres no time contraints in the game, you can play as many years as you want

Watch TV daily, fishing is very profitable, foraging is nice and they reset on sunday so forage on saturdays, from spring 15th-18th you can pick berries from bushes which are amazing for energy early on

i would say squid, midnight carp, and flounders are below what you listed. as they let you produce whats needed to craft sea foam pudding. but honestly that isn't even all that needed.

Silos can't be painted unfortauntely. As for Houses/Barns/Sheds, they need to be fully upgraded (basement not required for house)

fishing is good for energy early game, the fish you catch will give more enegry than it cost to catch them so you can build a surplus and use that to farm more 😄
