But even saying that, Sheep are actually pretty competitive when you consider all of the factors, such as...

Space: Pigs require space, sheep do not, so you could place extra barns where the pigs need space for truffles
Rain/Winter: Pigs don't work in rain or Winter
Shepard+Happy: Once happy, and if you sit on the shepard profression, sheep produce wool every day, and at Gold/Iridium quality, which gives a lot of Cloth.

(and 1 more factor that's pretty late game)
