For the puroses for slimeballs to acquire slime (which is usually why you'd get a slimehutch), the type of slime is completely irrelevant. The hutch holds 20 slimes, every 5 will get you 1 daily slime pile (up to 4 a day).

The only reason to specifically go for other colors is for aesthetic, or if you plan to actually kill the slimes for color specific loot, which is generally just pretty inefficient.
