Fishing can be a good source of early-game money. Make sure to plant the 15 parsnip seeds on day 1, and use that 500g you get to buy more seeds and plant them, too. (Potatoes is good.)
But starting on day 2, you'll get a letter inviting you to the beach. Go there and you can get a fishing rod, the bamboo one. If you have trouble getting the hang of fishing, you can buy the Training Rod from him, and that will give make things a bit easier.

You can drop them in the large box to the right of your house. It's called the Shipping Bin. You will get paid the next morning after you sleep.
You can also sell items to merchants. Fish can be sold to Willy. After you get the rod, you can sell fish to him in his shop, until it closes at 5 pm. Since you have so few inventory slots, it's a good idea to go in right before 5 so you can sell the fish in your inventory, freeing up space if you want to continue fishing.

You get the same amount of money from the Shipping Bin as you do any merchant.

The only difference is that merchants pay you NOW, while the shipping bin pays you the next day. Selling to a merchant might be helpful if you have something you want to buy and need the money now.

It helps with drag and drop, but I don't use it enough anymore to care. I move files using the "Move to" option. Too many drag and drop accidents with stuff ending up who-knows-where because it dropped where I didn't want it to and now I have to go look for it.

and geologist is good at late game, is that true? I know as a new player I should pick the miner and I want to but Im that kind of person which eventually makes the progress to the late game even when it's new for me so then I would regret not picking geologist
