A friend and I have a farm, we botch reached level 10 of farming, if one of us chooses agriculturist and the other artisan 40% does both og us get the 2 abilities, or do the crops just grow faster when she plants it?

With multiplayer, anything affecting the sell price & sold via shipping bin is global. But when it comes to player-only affected skills like agriculturalist, then only the person who is actually planting crops will have the effect on the growth rate

If the crop takes like 10+ days for one harvest (melons for example), it goes in the keg. Lower value stuff goes in the preserves jars

There's also mining, harvesting gems and gold, and selling them.

Fishing is extra profitable once you level it enough to get consistent gold/iridium catches

So if your friend only caught 30% of the fish, but YOU caught all of them, the perfection tracker would say the fish collection was complete. It does NOT combine your efforts though, one of you needs a full collection.

Meanwhile, your friend has max hearts with everyone, but you have 0 hearts, the tracker will still say it's complete because they have done it.

Entirely up to your future goals - If you haven't finished the abandoned mine, go for it (Especially after you upgrade your pick at least once) - You can fish for EXP or to sell for cash

Barns and Coops basically print free money, but it takes time to repay the initial costs

You can try a coop+silo if you want animals, else I'd say a shed if you want to organise your chests and various machines

Silo so you can get hay from scything grass, it's unprofitable otherwise
