Yeah, I think about very much achieving a goal. But first time I didn't even know the community center was something that was really important or anything. I just keep farming random things without sprinklers and going to the mine. I think it took close to like 5 hours before I stopped playing before I even noticed the building for the adventures guild

There is literally no rush to establish a goal for yourself! With one extremely minor exception (that has no gameplay consequences whatsoever), SDV sets no deadlines, so you are free to sandbox how you wish.
