Heyy, fairly new farmer here (year 2). I'm currently making 20k a day from constantly brewing coffee and animal products (+foraging). But it's taking up a lot of my time, so i wanted to ask if i should cut down on those profits/make money some other way?

beside coffee, try looking into wine? they take longer to ferment so you don't always have to constantly check on them/reload them. i suggest fishing too if you're into that, you can make bank just by selling 10-12 good quality fish a day (and || smoking them for even more money || if you have 1.6)

i think another nice easy way to make passive income is to age your fish roe. if you have fish ponds on your farm already, i highly suggest adding lava eels or any other high quality fish (that sells for a lot, you can check wiki). aging their roe at base price (without any professions yet) sell for a lot

if there is a rock on it then the check fails and its ignored
if there isnt a rock on it then itll spawn a ladder and prevent further ladders spawning from rocks
if a preloaded ladder successfully spawns, it prevents random ladders from spawning from rocks (but not from enemies)

the random part is a base 2% chance for a rock to spawn ladders
then ±2% based on daily luck, +0.5% from ||special charm||
and then food buffs add +1% for each point of buff luck
and then it adds 4% if there arent any enemies
and then 1/<amount of rocks remaining> is added to that
