The pantry is designed to be completable by mid fall-- in time to get stuff planted in it for Winter. That helps a lot, since you can't exactly grow a lot of things outside in the winter. This'll get you some more steady income in the lean months

The best way to get money in the game changes a bit. In the early game you can make a lot of money fishing.

In spring you can buy strawberry seeds from pierre at the egg festival that make a lot of money.

In summer ideally you plant melons or starfruit if you can, and kegging starfruit makes a lot of money.

In fall you'll want to plant pumpkins and make juice.

Winter isn't super profitable unless you have animals like cows and chickens that produce eggs and milk every day.

PC version is apparently for beta testing, since bugs can be fixed nigh-immediately rather than waiting weeks for mobile/console red tape.

1.6.7 had a game-ending crash (the save would effectively no longer be playable because it was tied to an action that could not be stopped). 1.6.8 was released less than a day later, fixing it.
