Normal, just plant them whenever. It's just wood and sap. Fruit? Make sure that you definitely have them where you want them, because they're expensive and take a whole season to grow, and you don't get a sapling back ||unless you're playing 1.6||

the ||galaxy sword|| is usually the go-to for most ppl, since it's strong and pretty easy to get.
although if you don't have a || ||, i suggest the ||lava katana||! it's pretty strong
both of the mentioned options are if you're specializing in swords. if you're using the hammer then i'm pretty sure that a ||galaxy hammer|| would be alright. ||it's unlocked after you get the galaxy sword, buyable for 75000 g iirc||. if not then go for the ||slammer||, although it is pretty hard to get

for food, i recommend spicy eels and coffee. speed is essential in ||sc runs||, luck is pretty useful too, the spicy eels cover that while coffee gives you an extra dash! ALTHOUGH i really recommend buying the Triple Shot Espresso recipe from Gus for 5k g, even though it costs a lot, it's very worth the money as it provides a speed buff longer than 3 coffee cups combined (although you do need 3 coffee cups to craft it, and a kitchen).
for heals, i recommend salad, it's cheap and if you have the artisan profession, you won't be losing out on gold (i'm pretty sure you also lose gold without it)
