-sell your starting parsnip seeds, potatoes all the way from start to end
-parsnips in the beginning, grind fish for max money until the egg festival where you can buy strawberries.
-parsnips in the beginning, kale until the end of the season as it is the best farming xp per g, though not the best crop for money

Haven't touched Stardew since 2018, if I was only going to do one playthrough/farm now what type would be recommended? Four Corners looks kinda interesting for the variety but looks small with all the walls, Standard looks decently sized and Meadow looks quite similar in size but with some nice detailing. Honestly all the maps seem good

To be honest, I always choose forest farm, it's pretty easy to get hardwood etc; Classic farm seems to have a bit too much space for me, so my safe choice is always forest farm!!!!

As someone who's played for six years? It's a worthwhile experience, no matter what you decide to do. I still find many joys as I take everything at my own pace. (Even if it means I'm going to speedrun dating someone.) I love the warm-brilliant aesthetic, and it's cherished as my most-played game.
