There is only one early weapon worth buying, the Steel Falchion.
||Later, after getting the Galaxy Sword, you can buy the Galaxy Hammer and Galaxy Dagger. ||

Yes. Some people prefer them, but they both require a certain build and conditions to max out their potential. I can't say more in this channel, other than don't go broke buying them. Like all club weapons, the hammer has a special move that people really enjoy.

For green algae, you should get it while fishing

you can specifically grind for it by killing green slimes on early levels of the mine

they have smoething like a 14% drop rate which is rather good

especially with a stronger weapon which just tears through them

It's kind of luck based, but you make your own luck the deeper you can go.|| The desert trader will trade 1 staircase for 1 jade, so if you have a crystalarium, start duping jades. Being able to use staircases to bypass bad levels and get to ones with good stuff like ores and treasure can make all the difference.||

Fertilizer is only good if you're selling your crops raw. If you've advanced to the point of kegging and jarrring your crops, you want Speed-Gro, because the right type can give an extra harvest.
