No, they don't. Crops can get up to gold quality normally, so that helps. Animal products can be iridium quality. Forageables are easily found at iridium quality with the right perk. Fish can be caught at iridium quality. Not everyone will have a gift you can give at quality, but if you can then you should.

They can be hard to spot in grass. They can't find truffles on spots that have grass on them. Game code sees grass as an obstacle. But if you walk through the grass you can't walk through a truffle, so if you get stopped by something, it might be a truffle.

I’m about to start a first time playthrough with my friend and I’m looking at the different farm maps, but the wording about the tile count is confusing me. For example, the standard map has 3427 tillable tiles, and 235 non tillable but build-able tiles. Does that mean the only building I can do is on those 235 tiles? And what about the 4 corners map that doesn’t say it has any buildable tiles. Does that mean I can’t build and structures there? Also can I place furniture and things on tillable tiles or only the non tillable tiles?

there’s a lot of components to it but it basically comes down to building relationships (getting hearts up) with townspeople, completing progress in the community center, and hitting milestones of making money are all easy ways to contribute to your score!

Well I made a mistake in the ingredients... and made copper, iron and gold bars. Thought that's what it took for the second teir sprinkler. i was wrong. I have to go to the mine to get more quartz then figure out how the heck to turn it into REFINED quartz then make the sprinklers. I'm just BUYING the iron and copper because I'm not spending all that time grinding for copper and especially iron today.

@cold quartz if you've reached floor 80 in the mines, you can grind floor 81 for gold ores and fire quartz, if you haven't known it yet, fire quartz produce 3 refined quartz each when smelt in a furnace

and the rarity is the same as normal quartz

You can get check poin every 5 floor so just clear 5 to 10 floor each day in early. Thats what i do before get upgraded house

so how it works is that you click on the elevator, click on the floor you want to explore (20, 60, 100, etc.) then as you're done with that floor, go to the ladder/elevator and exit the floor, then do the same thing again from beginning

this way you can generate more ore nodes by leaving the floor

you can also do this for gems like diamond iirc

You don't have to "water" the sprinkler. It works on its own but doesn't start until the day after placement, when it will water first thing in the morning. If you get outside early enough, you can catch the sprinklers in the act of watering.

You put the extracted folder into the Mods folder, which should have been created by Smapi

Then simply open the game through Smapi and it should work.

I don't really know what you mean without seeing it. But when you extract a mod, the only thing you need to do from there is move what you extracted into the Mods folder.

Make sure snap is installed properly first. Then extract and drag the mod folders into the mod folder. If you have stardew through steam, go to ProgramFiles/commonapps/steam/StardewValley, or whatever that chain may be, the mod folder exists there.

Once all the mods you want are in the folder. Run Stardew through steam. You should have a console window pop up titled SMAPI launcher, that'll let you know you're running properly.

Correct. You need to remove whatever is under it for it to grow.
Fruit trees need all 8 spaces around it (like a qulaity sprinkler) completely empty until fully grown

I'll be using farmer skill as an example

for level 5 you can pick either rancher or tiller, if you pick rancher at level 10 you can pick either coopmaster or shepherd, but if you pick tiller you can either pick agriculturist or artisan

so you can only pick 1 at level 5 and 1 more at level 10

||if you have a desire to change the profession, you can do that in the sewer for 10000g per skill and day, to get access to the sewer you need to donate 60 items to the museum||

either at fall or winter iirc past 12 PM
