I have two SDV saves that both reached year 14. When I finished the first one, I took six months away from the game (and this server) before starting the second. I can see that happening with the third. I've kind of done everything there is to do in this game, besides Joja, which I will never do, and the JotPK achievments, which I have no interest in doing.

My very first save was a disaster. I started over and the second one was better, but not to my liking, so I started over. By the third save I knew what I was doing, what my goals were, and I played that one to year 14 with great success.
My point is, don't be afraid to start over. Getting a fresh start can be more enjoyable than living with some nagging regrets that diminish the experience for you.

Fertilizer isn't worth it once you start processing your crops. And with Artisan being so OP, you really should be putting all your crops in kegs or jars.
What you want to use when processing is Speed-Gro, which can give you entire extra harvests, depending on the crop. (Note: no amount of Speed-gro will work on cranberries).

it takes 10 hits to take down a tree with normal axe, 5 hits to take out the stump too, and each upgrade decreases the amount of hit needed by 2 hits for taking down a tree and 1 hit for a tree stump (not to be confused with the tree stump that drops hardwood)

Veggies should go in jars, fruits in kegs. Most juices are actually worth LESS than the pickles the same veggie can make (the two exceptions being pumpkin and red cabbage). So making a juice with a veggie will take a day longer and make less money than making pickles with that same veggie.
