Remixed bundles and mine rewards were added in 1.5. Prior to 1.5, people had been playing with the same Community Center bundles and Mine rewards for years. So it adds variety to those.

Profit Margins is something you can use to make earning money more challenging. For example, 100% means when I sell something that's worth 16 gold, I get 16 gold.

If you set profit margin to 50%, then you can sell something worth 16 gold, and you'd receive 8 gold.
