ive been hearing that trees are rly important for wood and for using tappers

there might be some on YouTube tbh. But a good rule of thumb early game is at least to leave some trees around your farm as they’ll slowly spread on their own and as long as you keep it decently sized even after mass chopping them. Tree farms are a bit different though, for the case of making tapers the general rule of thumb would be to place a sapling, make a 3x3 circle around it with pathing and repeat this’ll make it so it won’t spread and that you can make a lot more for tappers

Personal preference. The usual recommendation is (1) have at least one of each animal produce available, (2) fill up all available spaces in the coop/barn, and (3) don't forget your silos for hay

Basic chickens are profitable, rabbits are good for gifts, ducks don't do much outside of CC, cows are profitable, goats require less milking, sheep don't do anything that rabbits don't unless Shepherd, and pogs are super profitable

In the fishing section of each area, you'll see a map that looks like this.
