I mean, I do too. The main issue with crossplay in the past has always been legal issues, and not software problems, and lately a ton of games have gotten past said legal issues

Crossplay is not currently possible with Stardew Valley, and it is unknown if it ever will be. According to ConcernedApe there are technical barriers that make it unfeasible. He would like to add it and may start looking into how to do it but currently it is not implemented.
