The game uses ids for each item and each one has a different number, because of an initial oversight different item catagories shared the same ids and in some cases could be swapped. It was patched but this was left in as a joke I guess

For animals, get a silo and some hay first - silo from Robin up in the mountains and hay either from Marnie, wheat seeds or cutting grass with a scythe when you have a silo

Then, you can buy a coop or barn from Robin and animals from Marnie!

Try to raise your fishing level using that/a different rod, crab pots or use food buffs as a higher fishing level makes that green bar bigger

Also using bait/tackle can help
