fish is the most annoying bundle if you're playing blind.

the game is great, and if you think you want to play on multiple platforms for any reason, it's also not expensive

eg. curling up on your couch to play it on the switch + modded experience on the PC

for me, I mostly don't bother with PC games, so I'm switch exclusive

but I know people who buy it on 3-4 platforms and are pretty happy with that

basically, if you have a reason to buy it on multiple platforms, then it's fiiine

okay the math is simple. Jelly is x2 + 50g. The Bear's Knowledge perk triples sale price (iirc). For BK Salmonberry to beat Salmonjelly, the base sale price has to be 50g or higher. It's not. For iridium BK Salmonberry to beat salmonjelly, the base sale price has to be 25g or higher. It's still not.

Lesson: Don't ship salmonberries. Don't process them either. Just eat for energy.

if you're having trouble, you can eat a +fishing food (Willy sells Trout Soup). Make sure you're using at least a Fibreglass Rod (Bait doubles your fishing catch rate, so more chances at eels) and if you really struggle then buy an iridium rod and trap bobber

the general idea you have to think about in early SDV is that spending money makes more money

most obviously, buying more seeds results in more crops to sell, which lets you buy even more seeds and sell even more crops

a few other places as well (upgraded fishing rod and bait)

this is most obvious in the very early game when your $$$ is limited, so you want to try to push it towards earning more $$$ if you can
