Both are good choices as each cave has individual pros. Both kind of become obsolete into mid-game. Mushrooms are good for early game energy and some extra money while fruit bats provide assistance with the community center fruits. That said, going with fruit cave doesn’t guarantee that you’ll get the three apples or two pomegranates, so I recommend still planting those trees.

if you get a silo then scything grass on your farm will fill your silo with hay

you need to feed the animals every day to increase their friendship and have them produce eggs
