to put it simply: each aspect of your game is stored in text code in your game save files, if you edit them correctly, you can change aspects such as which achievements youve unlocked, and basically force it to give you the achievements, which is whats usually used when bugs like this end up never giving you an achievement, but again please dont do this without help if you dont have experience in editing files!
