Ridgeside has broken vanilla temp events
I am unsure why, but it loads a blank Data/Events/Temp which overwrites all the pre existing ones.
You need to open Ridgeside and go into the Events folder and I think maybe ExtraEvents and find the part of the long line that says "Data/Events/Temp" and delete that part of it.
Should this be reported to rsv?

Yeh not the full line, just that portion of it. They load like 20 blank event files.
Ironically it won't break modded events since they just edit into the file. But yeh, any vanilla events with forking choices on temp maps will crash. Which is a number of 8/10 heart events.
oh that explains why I didn't have it with Aideen's 10 heart. Moe at RSV uploaded a file for me to replace the Extra Events json with
I do wonder why they added it.
he said it only impacts mods if the mod loads before RSV

hi there, if i used this mod https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/8876 to get rid of some bushes (see my msg in #vanilla-tech-support ) would i then be able to delete the mod and have the same farm? i havent played much stardew and want to keep my first savefile unmodded. if not thats fine i just dont want to break anything lol
I think you need to keep the mod, as it stores data on what you edited.

That mod has a toggle, so you can keep it and it won't affect anything as long as you don't toggle it on

Smapi reports that error when there are two manifests with the same uniqueid and one of them is missing the dll, for example

SVE is missing a file. Reinstall the whole mod. Manual is best since mod managers tend to eat files

delete the directory smapi-internal from Mods
somehow while copying things around you got smapi's internal directory into your mods folder (it's not supposed to be there), and then put a copy of sve's manifest in there somehow
yeah, and it does exist outside the mod folder cuz if it didn't smapi wouldn't run at all

Can you try reinstalling SpaceCore just in case? The issue seems to be related to some kind of wallet item
If that doesn't work unfortunately this is something that most likely needs to be fixed on the mod author's side

I think one of the mods I have installed is preventing the mines from randomizing if I leave & come back. Does anybody know of any mods that have that effect? I have about 20 installed, I can disable them each trying to track it down

Yeah
In multiplayer it only changes at the 10 min mark
Even if we all leave the mines and come back it's the same layout. The ladders are still there.

for some reason, even though i'm at 10 hearts with a villager, when i try to gift them the mermaid's pendant it just says "i shouldn't gift that"

Hi, I'm currently looking in logs file to find RSV items mismatch bug. I found a particular log file from one of my clients. The log stated it load 40 mods but it only have 39 mods when show details. I compared it to host log which has exact same mods and the loaded mods details are the same, except the host stated it load 39 mods which is correct. Is this the issue on our ends or some sort of bug?

Sorry, was making a bug report on the mod
Here's the gist of it:
The PyTK issue is the same issue that Lux's Food Mod encounters. When a mod uses PyTK to upscale items on the springobjects tilesheet, it must load after all other mods that edit that tilesheet. Since a lot of mods touch that tilesheet, you will need to add all other mods that edit it as false dependencies in the manifest. It's a huge headache but unfortunately there isn't any other fix.
Your two other mods that edit that tilesheet are Vanilla Tweaks and Gold to Titanium

When two mods both edit dialogue or images, whichever mod loads last "wins" and is the one you see in the game. In order to change the load order of mods, you can add false dependencies, see here for details: https://stardewmodding.wiki/wiki/Tutorial:_How_to_Add_a_False_Dependency_for_Load_Orders

However, it increases load times
And has a few interesting quirks, like this one
What you would need to do to use Faithful Weapons is to add two false dependencies in the manifest.json file

I'm not seeing where A&S writes into the log what skins you have loaded; Did you copy and paste only part of the log file in, or drag the file into the browser when you uploaded it?

Did you add A&S to an existing save file, or was this a new save that you just made?
While A&S should be able to account for that and properly give your pets/animals/horses IDs, it might have confused it
Were you always using version 3.2.0 or 3.2.1 and the beta versions, or were you using the MP beta version at some point?

I think you can get a path like this if you install it on your non-primary drive (aka D drive instead of C)
Alright, because it has a 0 ID, you'll have to give it one before you can remove it. Here's what to do:
- In your
Configfile for Adopt & Skin, set"DebuggingMode": true - Exit to desktop, reopen Stardew, and reopen your save.
- Use the command
debug_asreset. This will randomize the skins of your farm animals too, so write down what those are beforehand if you want to set them back to the same thing afterwards. - Call
list_creatures alland find the ID for the cat - Call
sell catsIDto remove the cat!

There is a console command to clear all children, but that's about it. Unless the KillNPC console command or remove NPC one works for children

You can always just try it, I used the DSV portraits for the wizard with SVE installed and it worked just fine.

xnb mods tend to be outdated at this point, so it's usually better to avoid them (they are the type that are used to replace game files manually)

Well 3.14 still has issues for some people. So if you get into the game and get stutters every so often (mainly when time changes) than you should go back to 1.13
It's best to make a copy of your 3.13 mod folder somewhere just in case

the disappearing-contents problem I know about, it's because we hook the chest's draw() call to draw the rest of the grange, so if the chest is off screen the contents don't get drawn

I would be careful with that - you will first need to remove every modded item, npc, and location from your save

If it's a vanilla save, you can just launch via the chicken facing left, and not the pufferchick facing right
also if you're just trying to delete smapi you can delete smapi's exe + dll + smapi-internal

Hey guys, I have a sound issue and I'm not sure where to start looking. I have a sound effect of, I think kegs constantly loading in rapid succession or something, that plays over the top of other sound files and on all screens, even the go to bed summary screen and what not. Anyone can offer advice?

speaking of sound issues, the problem when i teleport from GI to Farm and GI sounds keep playing is from vanilla or caused by a mod? 
Sometimes that happens to me in certain areas.
It only happens now and then and it didn't happen last playthrough so giving a log file would be pointless
i have to recreate it and then check the log 
If I'm in the regular mines and use CJB to teleport out I can hear the mine ambiance. Or if I am in Sandy's shop and teleport out, her shop music keeps playing.
I think it's probably the game being confused. xD
When you get a Nexus Warp-point cutscene (SDVE) is that warp-point supposed to show up immediately?

@fickle current Ok so I've been trying to help them with installing smapi. They installed it and it doesn't give them the files at all in the Stardew Directory. They showed me their folders and everything and it's not installing a mods folder, a smapi-internal folder or the api.
They pressed the right buttons to install it
They redownloaded the files and everything,
reinstalled stardew
reinstalled steam
and nothing is fixing this issue
They even turned off their firewall and antivirus
Just manually install: instructions are in the readme
i already did, like two or three times
smapi would run, but it wouldn't recognize all but 3 mods
which i think are the bundled mods
It would recognize only Errorhandler, consolecommands and savebackup

I sent them my smapi files to see if it would run

Alright, so here is the log for that sound glitch. yeah I'm double checking the i8n files and it has its name defined. I have no clue why it's showing up in the crafting menu and not the cooking menu though
@true dock Another Love of Cooking bug report above. First bug aspect is that it's named "null", second bug aspect is that it's in the crafting menu instead of cooking.

I have a mod that lets me buy recipes from the smapi console. All the ones from LoC are....odd. xD They show up as blueberry.loc.itemname. Or something like that. It's funny
yes, Love Of Cooking recipes are namespaced like that, blueberry has code to make it show up correctly in the cooking menu

yeah, if you look at the internal names for all of More Fertilizer's fertilziers, they'r ethings like "Fish Food - More Fertilizers"
it's that way so I don't risk accidentally clobbering other mods.

Hey, I'm having a hard time working out whats going on, this might be a bug with 1.5.6 Vanilla but I'm having 4-5 Crops vanish everyday on my farm, No Storms or Crows at play, This is also only affecting the main farm I do have mods that allow me to plant out of season but even In season crops are vanishing and I have no idea whats going on would anyone please be help shed some light on this?

The latest released version of PPJA (Project Populate Json Assets, a popular mod) is a conversion from JA to DGA, but it has some bugs in it, and the mod author has retired. Sticking with the older JA version is probably your best option.
You can download the JA version from the Old Files section on Nexus, or by downloading the latest versions of the standalone components instead of the megapack (except for Farmer to Florist, where you would need to look under Old Files in the standalone version).
DGA is a newer framework with some advantages vs. JA and some disadvantages. In this case it's moot because the PPJA DGA conversions are broken.

@tired brook @fast river Two users have now reported that JA throws an NRE (when injecting crafting/cooking recipes) that causes the game to refuse to load in SMAPI 3.14 in multiplayer split screen, but not in SMAPI 3.13.4. I'm not really sure what would cause this, but it's likely either a SMAPI issue or a JA issue. It does seem to be specific to split screen.

Sooooooo these weird tan shapes with orange hearts inside of them have invaded my Delotti shirt mod somehow. Those shapes are definitely not supposed to be there. There's a similar thing happening elsewhere in the shirts too where I can "wear" what looks like random tiles. What do y'all think might do something like this?

A patch export makes a copy of specific stuff in your content folder so you can see what changes have been applied.

I move my greenhouse and the entrance tiles didnt disappear. I installed Greenhouse begone, and the entrance from my actual greenhouse is gone but this one wont go away. I cant place anything on top of it either.. any ideas t get rid of it?
