Toni - I think it has to do with Cape Stardew
Reinstall the mod and see if it happens again. If it does, backup your save, delete Cape Stardew and launch the game.

Does anyone use the mod to-dew list? When I added items to the list, I noticed that when I reloaded the game they weren't there anymore?
I use that mod, and I haven't had that experience

@tired brook I'm not sure why my smapi 3.18.3.3 keep crashing - but anyway I see the configuration threw generic config mod - but to further check through game play smapi keeps on crashing - I know smapi on Android isn't fully done, but I'm using the other way to put mods in game - and I don't know another way to send smapi log because smapi log function doesn't work yet - so if there any other way to send a log to you please indulge me

(Pathos, before you look into this, please know it seems to be a common thing for android users to fail to find their errorlogs folder properly. We've had at least three in the past week. That said, two of them don't seem to get the prompt on android when they click "choose a file")
Can you find it in your mods folder, long press it, and copy it into the log parser, perhaps?

Do those errors still happen if you temporarily remove all mods except SMAPI itself?
Press choose a file and press files then went to zArchiver then went to Android the to data then to com.zane.stardewvalkey then hit files then hit error smapi then hit the log done

nvm I fixed it by disabling the sleeves on the custom body I use then re-enabling them
That's fine, you can ignore that message. Can you re-add Chests Anywhere (but no other mods), see if it works fine in-game, and post your new log either way?

I downloaded smapi, and did the steam side. I downloaded mods and put them into the mods folder but now when I try to run SV, it says "missing executable".

logs are always useful but sometimes people cant even get them in the first place 
Try removing the space in the executable name, and the extra quote at the end:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Stardew Valley\StardewModdingAPI.exe" %command%
that fixed the launching issue!
It's failing in SMAPI's reflection API when it tries to access StardewValley.Menus.OptionsDropDown, due to this error:
TypeLoadException: Could not resolve type with token01000099from typeref (expected classSystem.Diagnostics.CodeAnalysis.MemberNotNullAttributein assemblyxTile, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null)
Which is an interesting error. I don't think it can be fixed in Chests Anywhere unfortunately, that one looks like something that needs to be fixed in SMAPI somehow.
(I can't wait for Android to hopefully have .NET instead of Xamarin in Stardew Valley 1.6.)

Not with Chests Anywhere currently, though later SMAPI updates may improve compatibility.

I don’t think she has a log — It’s just her mods won’t show in the actual game itself. there is no mod error in the log probably.

SMAPI always creates the log, even if there's no error. We do need the log unfortunately, since it'll show info like where it's loading mods from, which mods are present, whether it detected zipped mods, etc.

That button is added by Generic Mod Config Menu, so that's at least one mod working. Can you pick one mod that's not working, and we'll look into what the issue is?
the one mod I’ve seen that isn’t working for her is the immersive farm, the npc map locations and a bunch others
The one that stuck out to me is the Immersive Farm 2 map - she's using an old version
We downloaded it from the stardew valley expanded files

excuse me, i hope everyone is doing alright! i have an issue with my game. for some reason, the expansion mod isnt in the game whenever i open it even though i seem to have the these files already(?) what should i do? i tried removing and reinstalling the expansion mod again and again but this keeps happening :(

Accidentally deleting one could have been a large part of the issue - large expansions make a lot of game changes, so the effects domino

No. The log shows there's a smapi installer inside the mods folder that can be deleted. It shouldn't affect the game, but it does add to the log. 🙂

You have several mods that are very outdated. I would recommend updating all of them.
Stardew Valley Expanded requires Content Patcher and Spacecore, to be updated.
I would also recommend deleting your Stardew Valley Expanded mod folder and reinstalling from Nexus

I'm trying to run the game but after booting up my PC today it fails to launch with mods, running vanilla instead, running StardewModdingAPI directly gives the following error: ```

Hello, me and my friend are having problems while playing modded stardew together, some of the items are not matching, meaning that he sees some items as different from mine. We have the same mods, nothing else added, and mods are the same versions too. What can we do to fox this?

the easiest way to play multiplayer is to let one person set up mods, and then send the folder over to the other players
this is theoretically mod piracy, but between friends we don't really mind too much

just don't go sharing the pack online publically
(this shouldn't matter, JA sorts items by name before assigning IDs)
(that said, it's not uncommon for someone to lose a single object folder somewhere)
or, hilariously once I saw, Vortex to fail to deploy ONE JA folder
(they reported this to AtraCore, lol.)
the logs suggested they were running the exact same mods, other than the missing SMAPI built-in mods and some updates waiting
It's why all my mods now ask vortex users to deploy/undepoly all mods

because some people said it was bugged

I can't fix it, unfortunately. It's how MARGO communicates with Custom Resource Clumps to change the properties of an object.
At least one more error in your log is caused by MARGO.

hi, why isn't the coop changed? I'm sure it's enabled in the config options, and when I go to disable then enable it, it changes to the modded look then when I go into the town or something and come back it goes back to vanilla

well the problem is still here. we have the same game version, the same mods, the internet connection is fine, the startup_preference file is deleted (as one of the instructions said) etc. and my friend still can't join our co-op game :(

I was on multiplayer with 2 friends and it was fine then it randomly said they left and my game crashed
if possible could your friends also provide logs? but i suspect the issue may be a mod mismatch between your group. if someone has a mod that others dont, it can lead to a crash

although it's easily fixable by removing the mod in question
it doesn't break the game or the saves permanently, it just means that the game will crash often and crash hard

The thing is on downloading sve from nexus is after you click manual, you need to scroll down a bit then you'll see manual download under the file. Then you need to click it so you get another pop up to click slow download

My guess is since you still are throwing errors from RSV, and the CJB error says something about social stuff

Hi, did you happen to edit any of the game's original content files?
it looks like industrial furnace mod got removed from the save and the game isnt happy about it
yeah - I was curious because it looks like it was placed in the main buildings content folder
well the way smapi gets mods into the game is by basically tricking it into thinking mod files are part of the content files
so if something goes missing, the game thinks its missing from the content folder
so- find wherever your industrial furnace mod went and reinstall it. also unrelated to your issue but swap out multiple spouses for free love- multiple spouses is outdated and buggy.

The PyTK mod is now obsolete. You can delete it from your mods folder, and all your mods should be safe.
If you get an error saying you're missing PyTK, open the mod(s) manifest.json and change the PyTK dependency from true to false

Other people reported the same problem and the most likely cause of this is the Android version, only people with Android 12 or less had this problem while Android 13 is totally ok, this is because of the new update which added more compatibility for Android 13, I recommend you download an older version of the game. (Unless you are running Android 13 then I don't know what the freak is going on)

After removing PyTK my game started spiking with lags, but I guess that's because it is old save and it changes save serializer

With 495 content packs, the load time is going to be longer. Have you tried Spritemaster?
It is not about load time per se, jus about change time in game, like from 6:00 am to 6:10 am
SpriteMaster (https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/4922) is a mod that resamples the game's graphics to be smoother and improves performance. It is highly configurable and you can choose which options to enable.
If you don't like the pixel resampling, you can turn it off in the config
It is not about day start either, it is happening at every 10 minutes in game
I don't think spritemaster is going to help with that one, as it is problem with one of the Content Patcher mods
'Pathoschild.ContentPatcher' took 29.09ms handling GameLoop.TimeChanged (0740) this one is the problem, I don't mind one big spike at start of the day
SM optimizes a lot. The pixel resampling is a bonus. Also, check your Automate intervals
29.09ms is nothing.
That's why I asked about Raffadax mod, maybe it is the one that adds many things per tick change, but I have no idea how to check it 
It is nothing if it's happening every few real minutes, but 29.09ms every second is kinda heavy
I even set timer to change faster to check it, and it is taking at least 20ms every 10 minutes in game, every single time

It is noticeable, because it is literally a big lag spike, not fps spike
Check your Automate intervals. If you go into your smapi log, and search "automate" in the filter, you'll see how long automate is taking on different update ticks.
Automate has different tick, at least in Profiler

No, I understand what you are talking about - it's happened to me - I would get a lag stutter every 4 seconds. Which is why I suggested Spritemaster and checking your automate intervals. Both of those things fixed the issues in my game.
Alright, what interval you set for your automate?
I tried a bunch of different ones - increasing it to 175 worked for me (I'm automating 500+ machines)

Added Sprite Master, changed Automate to 175 and updated SpaceCore, because I realized I'm kinda behind in this one, didn't help

Yep
It hasn't been updated for Raffadax 4.0.1 - so that could be part of the problem
Wasn't it only changing pngs to different ones?
Yes - did you do the full override again after you installed 4.0.1?

Well, you could try the troubleshooting steps Nonu commanded above, or as you said, remove CP packs one by one.

so i'm playing on a multiplayer farm and every time we go to complete the CC the game freezes and i get these errors
any reason why?
check that everyone playing has the exact same set of mods
oh do they need to have the same mods for it to work

i've played multiplayer in the past when i was the only modded player and never had an issue
thats.. incredibly lucky. everyone get the same mods and see if that resolves your issue
put a period in front of the mod you want to disable, example .ContentPatcher
or if the people youre playing with dont have any mods, you can launch the vanilla game by going into your game folder and launching StardewValley.exe

As this is modded game support and if you can confirm to them it is unmodded (and that SMAPI isn't coming up) they should be helping you since it would fall under their domain.

@stark horizon I'm sorry for pinging you, but I found what was causing these lag spikes
Better Junimos is the guilty one, after testing it few times and reading comments on Nexus, I can confirm that this mod is making my game suffer the pain of lag

Hi! I am currently trying to download stardew valley expaned on a macbook. I have installed smapi, installed the required mods into the mod folder. However, it says that some of the mods have errors/cannot be found whenever I start up stardew. Can anyone help me? I can upload the log parser if necessary!

You're missing required mods for SVE.
Did you get all the mods listed under the Required tab on the main Nexus page?
