The mod isn't in my mods folder, it's in another folder so I never used it.
I’m unconvinced they work well together, although a surprising number of people show up with both
But I still don't know which of those mods alters the 10 heart event because no matter what option I pick in the dialogue, leah says you're going to have to marry us all.
Look under trace level for whatever edits whatever file for the event location it’s in
is it not perks of being married

Hello, i’m not sure what to do. This is my first time playing modded stardew valley. My game isn’t loading like any mods, and only a couple of them.

there is a mod manager but you still have to download things one by one
installation and updating are slightly easier tho

SMAPI 3.18.0 raised deprecation levels to the final stage, meaning SMAPI will now show yellow warning dialogues for mods with deprecated code. For the user, this just means that the mods have old code and will break in SMAPI 4.0 if they are not updated - it is not anything to worry about at this time. (For mod authors, it's a not-nice warning to update your code already!

Not that I know. I did just update some of my drivers 😅 none of them are sound though (unless you count nvidia), so I'll see if that solves it

Run smapi installer again. Run the game so the log will refresh. Parse that log to the link

The very scientific process of "googling the error message" makes me think you're running an ARM processor and the packaged installer is for x86
will that make sense I had help on another Discord server that did help me to download a x64 code.
so, the installer should have packaged all the parts of Net it needs, you shouldn't ahve to download anythign special
anddddd I'm pretty sure it works fine on M1 macs

SMAPI is an x64 executable, which can run on macOS and Windows ARM because they support emulation for cross-compatibility. I'm not familiar with ARM support on Linux, but it might not have that emulation layer so it only supports native ARM builds?
Tyler's processor is also...interesting, in that it's a tablet processor.

This error typically occurs when a binary file for a certain processor architecture is run on a different architecture e.g., an x86 executable is run on an ARM CPU
Which is why I tried to get you to install the ARM version of net 6 to see if that fixés anything
And well, given that didn't, I'm at a bit of a loss here
It's not just that you can't run smapi, it looks to me like you can't run net 6 at all

My only other ideas would be to build just some random hello world program in Rust and see if you can run that

I experience weird behaviour of some npcs after updating an expansion mod last time, fixed automatically after sleeping, not sure if this can help though

Alright just had a weird glitch happen - everything involved is vanilla which was strange but want to know if anyone has had something similar happen
I used a warp totem to return to the farm and while in the animated swapped back to my axe and then instead of the warp totem being used my axe was instead
I debug spawned a new axe in but that was weird - it didn't get mailed back or appear in the lost and found
Interestingly I can fully replicate it too and it never deletes the totem, but deletes whatever item is swapped to

So i have two instances of stardew valley (one of them is just the steam one and the other is a copy is copied else where on my pc)
on the steam one i get this error

and my save doesn't appear. but on my other instance of the game. I can see the save but ONLY when i load it via the standard exe.
Side info: the save is called hillside farm and not a single mod has touched the save. not even the smapi mods.

SpriteMaster (https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/4922) is a mod that resamples the game's graphics to be smoother and improves performance. It is highly configurable and you can choose which options to enable.

The tl;dr is that there's a bit of code in the game that's quartic to the number of locations you have
it will take forever unless you have a mod rewriting that, and the only released mod that does that is spritemaster
if you cannot install spritemaster, your only other options are (a) rewrite it yourself or (b) wait for Stardew 1.6 which fixes this stupid bit of code somewhat
(c) just wait the game to load even tho it might took hours
tbh I'm not that surprised something in spritemaster doesn't work on M2s or on apple silicon
It's not mac compat specifically, it's the fact that it's an ARM system
and we can't ask the dev here as he's not active in a while
I guess i know why SVE says that it’s folder is empty, i always unzipped everything so SVE is split up into its subfolders and the real SVE folder isn’t even there

yup, you can try reinstall or even update smapi first as you don't have error handler. after that try load the save and send the log again

Have you guys ever download Profiler mod? Usually there is a snag/lag/a frozen moment when the [Big loop] summary shows up on the smapi. Is it normal?
Usually when you walk then it generates the [Big loop] summary you end up walking a few tiles from where you were. Specially when you have +2 speed it would look like you're glitching

Smapi doesn’t notify you things why it stutters so i downloaded profiler mod to help me understand it better. How i understand it is that in the background what is happening is that smapi runs something which doesnt really show it to you. You get this stutters when you walk or while its raining or while holding your fishing rod at some point
Profiler is just there to summarise the game while it does load something related to the game per millisecond if it is slow or fast and stuff.
Tell them to remove grandpa's farm if they are using yours imo

I'd assume its correct as i think Grandpa's Farm is more of a large overhaul of the Farm, rather thatn just a map
Yeah - that would explain an error message (or a message) popping up on entering the farm house as it’s trying to load something but can’t either because it isn’t there or is incompatible
If for some reason that’s not it I would guess something with TMXL could be causing issues since that causes a lot of issues with other things and could explain a map change error

in steam, it goes to "cancel" then "stop" and then right back to play
and the smapi file does nothing

for some reason Automate has stopped pulling some items out of machines, it will still put things into machines but some wont get pulled out anymore, i dont know whats up...
Did you check any chest nearby that connected to the machine?
the chests are perfectly capable of taking the items, and the setup was working fine yesterday...

You don't need the mod to get your lost items though, you can just go to the adventurer's guild

I've been having a problem with one of my mods skipping the event the second I step into it i.e Egg Hunt and Spring Dance. I don't know how to repeat the event because I've already passed the day but does anyone know how I can skip to an event day without having to play the whole game?
two things here, 1) it doesnt seem like you have SAAT, make sure you actually downloaded and unzipped it into the mods folder, and 2) it appears that youre missing portions of SVE. reinstall it
I'm also trying to find out which one of my mods is skipping over town events but I can't do it without repeating the event.
this is the second time I've deleted SVE and redownloaded it but ill do it again to see if that helps
make sure youre moving all of the folders from it inside your mod folder, the ones that say [CP] , [JA], etc
you can use cjb cheats to change the date, set it to the day before a festival and sleep so you wake up on the festival day

i mean, i would just assume its part of integrated minecarts or something, like i said. maybe look in the config to see if you can turn off the farm minecart if it bothers you

It worked! I wish I could move the minecart instead but whatever. I guess Integrated Minecart doesn't work with Immersive Farms 2
