As you use stardrop, can you disable all mods then launch the game to see if the problem persist?

for DGA issue, reinstall DGA Dolly Window
for CP issue, choose ither one of this Lnh's Castle Farm and Lnh's Leisurely Farm

the CP issue is because you load two farm by LNH

i fixed it wit a restart... that was weird. anyway thanks guys
I'd updated GMCM to use the Lnh farms to replace the Riverland and Wilderness farms (I like to play multiple farms at the same time), so I'm not sure why that error's coming up. Hmm.
As far as Dolly Window, I ended up going in and manually updating the mod since the mod hasn't been updated since within the first day or so of first going up, so I'm going to run the game and see if that takes care of it. Thanks for your help!

I always delete the old version first - I learned the hard way what can happen the one time I accidentally didn’t, lol

I've been trying to use Farmer Portrait with Seasonal Portraits for Non Modders and I keep getting this error https://smapi.io/log/9c0827a89d7c45bd805ad8af1eba4662 but the dll does exist. the modder said that my mod folder looks correct and they don't know why smapi can't find the dll and to ask here. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I've deleted it and reinstalled several times and it has the same issue. Also which one is the directory name?
(I'm looking at the TRACE log. I suspect sophieo renamed the directory)

For whatever reason my downloads don't come in a folder, I have to make the folders so I name them. If it should be something else I can change it

That space might a problem
it comes as a zip. in mac it's unzipped automatically as a folder if you open it iirc. then you just need to move that folder into Mods folder
(i tried adding a space to the end of AntiSocialNPCs mod folder on linux and it prevents the whole game from opening [game] The game failed to launch: DirectoryNotFoundException: Could not find art of the path .../AntiSocialNpcs)
It was the space. It ran fine when I deleted it. Thanks for all the help!

I don't think SMAPI does anything special for spaces (e.g. it doesn't trim paths that I can recall)? So we'll need to look into why that happens.

hi everyone!!! i was popping in to ask -- does anyone know what tilesheets these are? like what file theyre a part of? i replaced the spring/summer/winter/fall_outdoors / town / island / beach map files but im still having this issue. i even recolored the "monster grave" files as well just in case those were the culprit, but unfortunately no.
basically what im trying to do is integrate daisynikos earthy recolor into my xnb files themselves as it runs my game WAY smoother that way. however, im having trouble finding the files these tilesheets are a part of so i can recolor them.

You may have been doing this that long but honestly, we really don't recommend doing things this way anymore because it causes so many issues
if you desperately need xnb daisyniko's recolour because there's no other options, I did convert it to to xnb a while ago
aight, so i’ve got quite a few portrait mods and portraiture in my game, but a particular set of portraits are refusing to work with the rest of them, whenever i put it into the portraiture folder, it straight up doesn’t work, and whenever i have it separate it removes all my other portraits and only allows the ones in that file to work. It’s the pugpng portraits (i’m not sure if that’s the actual name but here’s a photo of one of the portraits included in case anyone else has had similar issues??)
aw no its okay!!! ill either try to find the tilesheet again or ill try to make a content patcher mod that merges daisys recolor with the other map edits i had wanted and see if it runs smoother that way. but thank you!!! ❤️

I was using the Lookup Anything mod to help with breeding free-range slimes, but I'm unsure what the tag GreenSlime:cute yes/no refers to. Been having trouble mating my three slimes but they all seem to have that tag which states yes (although visually appear as two males and a female)
I think this is an issue with UIInfo Suite 2, but I'm not sure. Every time I have a crop ready to harvest I get a message that says Runi is ready to harvest at Farm

Hello I have a problem with textures flickering
Is there a way to use portrait replacements that have .pytk extensions without using PYTK? I am avoiding that mod because of loading issues, but there are some beautiful portrait mods out there I'd like to use... I would use portraiture, but unfortunately that doesn't work in multiplayer.
I suppose I could try to replace the images directly?

If finding a log is too confusing and you're able to load your save, you can install the In-Game SMAPI Log Uploader to get the log without having to search through the files. You can try to use them as Portraiture mods if they're only base portraits. If they're seasonal portraits, I believe you can convert them to HD portraits

Vortex puts symlink on Mods folder and the actual mods in the other place
So if a mod is using own framework, it may not detect its content pack if it is supposed to be in the mod folder?

hii so i have a modded multiplayer world that worked just fine but since i updated the mods about a week ago, none of my friend can play on the world anymore. they join and its just their bedroom and their sprite is not visible. i can play just fine however. their smapi log has red text with east scarpe in it. shoyld we just make a new world w/o east scarpe or maybe wait for this to be patched?

I want the earthly recolor interface mod to work fully
It is showing the vanilla background instead of its own on the loading page
And some aspects the texture isn’t applied to
It’s probably a mod I just installed idk which one would cause this though

the bad news is although there are multiple things editing cursors, none of them should? be in conflict with each other as they're editing different things 
these... but for example, the Elle ones are just edited the animal heads, candle torch is just editing the little flame that's on the Cursors sheet for some baffling reason, etc

Im still using too many animals fine so i don't know, i saw some people talked about it too
at first i thought it was bc maybe some of the animals i downloaded didn't work with the unofficial bfav but then i deleted one of the animals on the list that was showing and one of the other animals that wasn't showing showed showed up

Anyone ever find any solutions to stuttering whenever time changes? I've read that redownloading/repairing xna helps, which it didn't seem to help for me. I've heard turning the Priority to High helps, doesn't help. I've also heard turning off CPU 0 for affinity helps, but it doesn't seem to help.
It helps if I remove ES, but than if I add something like Reimagined 3, the stutters come back.

The mods that are out of date have the wrong update thing.
There are a couple that updated yesterday, but I've had this issue for a few days now. So it's not that.
Looking at this, it seems spritemaster takes the longest at 600.68ms at first, but stops eventually. Content patcher is taking 155.28s after some time into the day after that.
looks like SmolHooman's Domestic Animals is taking a bit on time changes. i don't know if it's causing the stutters but i'd try removing that first to test

So this is odd. I removed Spritemaster (latest one), SMAPI loaded faster, hitting Load Game, didn't take a bit to bring up saves, the save actually loaded quicker and there is no stutter.

For some reason smapi can't load waterfall forest farm from stardrop. Can you disable that mod and try launch the game again from stardrop?
I cannot get my smapi console to open with the game after doing a quick reinstall of smapi, it's enabled in the script and console commands is working fine in the mods folder, so not really sure what's stopping it?

Kind of a weird issue I (and Pre, apparently) have with FS: I'm working on a little pack with a bunch of shirts and noticed the sleeves not being recolored properly to match the shirt's color. Instead, it seems like the sleeves take on the hair color. Has anyone else run into this problem?

Did you open the link I sent? You can follow the instructions to make a mod group, and instead have it lead to a folder with either no mods or only the base smapi mods, which is basically the same as a vanilla game

the mod groups? it's just making a separate mods folder for another copy of smapi. that way, you'll be able to open the second copy with only the specific mods you want

did anyone ever find a solution to the problem of the mods disappearing after updating smapi?
so im trying to mod on my mac

ok so with me i downloaded smapi and all that and then i downloaded mods and unzipped them and put them into the mod files after opening up steam
i just deleted everything and im going to try to start fresh
so can someone explain in full detail because my comprehension skills are terrible LOL

i have all the unzipped saved in a separate file so its not completely deleted
So i resolved this issue!! If anyone was having the same problems this is what i did: Copied my mods for SDV and pasted them into the mods folder in the Stardew Valley folder
(i still had my mods they were only deleted from the sdv folder)
does anyone know of a sprite sheet for sandy out there that provides compatibility with looking for love x hugs and kisses?

Can you open the command line and navigate to your smapi install folder where the script lives? The command is “cd <path to folder>” so it should look something like “cd ~/Downloads/SMAPI-3.18.3-Installer”
(Without the quotes)
If you’re not familiar with command line, it’s just an application that you will have by default

Great! Next type “ls” and verify you see the Linux.sh file. If you don’t see it, navigate further into the directory with “cd <folder>”

so when you download a mod, they usually come in a zip. after you unzip it, it's possible the name of the folder will be xxx 738383839 or something like that. if you look inside that folder, you'll usually find the same folder without a bunch of numbers. all you have to do is move the folder without the numbers to your mods folder (which is created by smapi when you install it
if you like to be organized, you can create subfolders, name them whatever you want, and put the mods folders inside those subfolders

The waterfall sprites have been messed up on white water farm. Same issue even when I'm using earthy recolor. I haven't noticed any errors, tilesheets are updated, etc. any ideas?
Probably using their own tilesheets

If it’s the farm I’m thinking of, the coloring around the picnic blanket is also messed up

Just to be clear, did you already install SMAPI? (I ask because SMAPI doesn't create a folder with a lowercase m, so that's usually an indicator that you created that folder yourself(
But you're also missing the dependencies
Most mods need other mods to work
You can see which ones they are on the mod page, under the requirements tab
I think on mac i also had to make own mod folder.
You need way more mods i think.
Oh well, I don't have Mac so I'm not sure. I'm just speaking from experience with Windows

Ah well, then you should be all set. If you play through Steam, I think you can just press play on SDV and it will open SMAPI? Or otherwise just search for the StardewModdingAPI app

You need to get rid of the stardew expanded and had to only put all the folders that were in it

I might have to leave in a bit, but from the log website, you can get the path to your Mods folder
you're close, but not quite in the right place from what I saw earlier
You probably need to go into the MacOS folder

Ok i just got the shortcut for stardew and its a chicken on mac i guess
You move SVE and the other mods inside that folder
move SVE and the other mods from the folder they are in, to the mods folder you searched with Finder
they have to be inside the folder with Error Handler, Console Commands and Save Backup
OH I think you need to ad the mod folder in that

Guys i have another question, i have the adopt'n skin mod on and i adopted 4 cats, but two of them when i try to change the skins won't let me, they're id says 0 instead of the other 2 cats, it doesn't bother me that much but i wanted to change their skins since they spawned with vanilla skins

Hey y'all, I haven't played Stardew in quite a few months and ran into some issues with one of my chets mods earlier; I believe it was Chests Anywhere as I know that one lets you name chests & a whooole bunch of mine are named. I can see on the nexus page for it that you can " Edit chests by clicking the edit icon after opening a chest", but when I launch my game that icon doesn't look the same as the example that's linked and I'm not sure why? can anyone help me troubleshoot this?
It's possible it was changed in an update and the mod author didn't change the preview
As long as the intended behaviour is happening, I don't think it's anything to worry about
