okay so basically, i set cobblestone paths as my connectors to the chest but for some reason the inner beehives wont register
...paths don't connect things with automate, right?

Playing with RSV and SVE installed. I was fishing in RSV, and got a treasure chest with an iridium band, a small magnet ring, and a diamond in it. I equipped the iridium band, but there's no glow effect! Not sure why.

Also more importantly symlinks aren't supported for SMAPI IIRC
Symlink is how vortex deploy mods and supported for smapi. But because the way symlink deploy works, it is sometimes buggy
But still as i used vortex before, i'd recommend manual install or use stardrop

Hey this might be a dumb question cause I'm pretty sure the answer is no but is it possible to mod stardew valley on a regular switch? I have stardew on my pc as well but I find I play on switch more and was just curious

Hi! I'm struggling to mod my game. I'm not the greatest at technology, so I don't know what I did wrong while putting the mods into the stardew valley files. If someone could help it would be greatly appreciated ❤️

yes, i made sure i downloaded everything that was required (or at least it said was required) before i downloaded the file, which included the api.

if that's the case, you won't notice any different farm, it will show the normal ones, you just have to choose the correct one

Well you have Yri's Tree Overhaul as well. They override the same things

The East scarp code is just loadig ocean sounds when you are on the beach. The code for that hasnt changed in years.

You should install interaction tweaks. It may not help but its a very useful mod to have.

I‘d try reading the mod description. Sounds like you‘re supposed to replace files in another mod.
Probably a stupid question, but does your list actually have any items on it yet? I think it won‘t show up if it doesn‘t.

But it does show up when you open the list manually to edit it? Make sure you haven‘t set it to appear only on certain days or in certain seasons. If that’s not it… I don‘t know either.

you have two copies of [JA] Atelier Wildflour Candy Pack and a few other Atelier packs...
Two content packs want to load the 'Buildings/houses' asset ((CP)Tanga forest Buildings and HudsonValley Buildings). Neither will be applied. You should remove one of the content packs, or ask the authors about compatibility.

So I'm having some issues with my game. I had previously had it modded, with everything working great. I then installed https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/2590. I realized there was a better one that was out, uninstalled and then installed https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/10496. Now with a full reinstall, and no mods I get stuck in the sword swing animation with certain swords, including the galaxy sword. I cannot move, switch hotbar items nor open the pause menu. tl;dr vortex has a habit of partially installing/uninstalling mods and updates

What the funky part was, I manually deleted the leftover files that were there (it was one from a totally different thing). Stardew isn't as messy as modding skyrim and I don't have nearly the same amount of mods so it's no big issue to manually do it and to see if it still has the same issue.

Here's a question; if I need to turn off mods to test them manually to see what isn't allowing me to save and move forward in a modded farm, can I do this through Stardrop? Or is it best to just do it manually? (Which I will be honest I kind of don't want to do because I have six hundred by now and that sounds tedious as hell.)
What's happening is I will be playing a modded Stardew Valley Extended play through and at random times the game looks like it's saving but freezes on the save screen after my character goes to bed or passes out from not getting to bed on time. It has happened on day six and I've gotten as far as the end of Winter before the game crashed and all progress is lost. My game play is deleted, and I don't even know how to go about to find the save and I don't know how to fix this problem. If anyone could help me, I would greatly appreciate it. There were a few mods that did need to be updated and I have updated them since the last crash. I have included the crash log from the last crash that happened today. Any aide you can give me would greatly be appreciated. Please be very clear and use simple step by step instructions on what I need to do to fix this. I am not as computer savvy as most of you are. Wrong launch options shouldn't cause you not to be able to access the properties tab but if you borked up something else, reinstallingshould take care of that

It depends. Do you only want Expanded, or you want Expanded and the farm maps?

I have trouble walking. My guy moves stiffly when walking he has no movement. Through the Opera gx browser, I installed some mods from the Nexus website today. I uninstalled opera gx before installing the mods within my game (not sure if this is crucial information).
My character was walking without any animation when I started the game. Until then, all right. When this has happened to me in the past, I've always removed the mods I loaded that day from their folder and tried each one individually until I identified the one causing the problem. My character continued to move after I did this without the animations, and I have no idea what to do, I also uninstalled and reinstalled vortex, however NOTHING worked.

i think the first boots are the same color as the default no boots look so it doesnt change

cuz sometimes to download a mod you need other mods with this and maybe i got those mods that were needed for another mod to work, but i deleted that one and now those others arent doing anything

the only problem you have is an issue with ridgeside, which you may have failed to delete properly if you removed it. other than that, all your other frameworks are being used/needed by something else, or they're just qol mods

yup i got rid of the Ridgeside cuz it was heavy on the performance
well it might not be working because you have two farm maps that will conflict with each other taco
At least i tried to, i found 3 folders called Ridgeside Village in my mods folderd
grandpa's farm and immersive farm remastered 2 are different farm maps

yeah im just making a new one but Ive played on grampas farm and its too big and confusing for me
stardew valley expanded takes a while to load so give it a few minutes too
also try updating your mods like space core

your mod counts is fairly small so when load a save with SVE, try to not clicking anything
if you want a smaller modded farm map to play on you can ask people in #modded-stardew for reccomendations

Can you not mod the game anymore when you have SV installed from Game pass? There's no mod folder anymore, and there's no option to enable mods. Trying to launch smapi doesn't do anything either. And my mod folder nuked itself when I tried to drag it into the game folder, cause I thought that was the issue

I just did the intro by accident and it worked
but yes, you can mod on gamepass
I used to have it modded that's why I was wondering. But the mod folder doesn't exist anymore. I reinstalled the game, and still nothing. Normally there's an option to enable mods on game pass, but that doesn't exist anymore either
I'm not sure about that, I've never heard of an option like that
You'll have to reinstall SMAPI to have mods

Yep, gimme a sec. Deleted smapi and reinstalling it right now. Maybe I didn't delete it properly or something
Now it says Stardew valley doesn't exist on my PC. Even though I just launched it. Gonna reinstall that aswell

You have to manually input the correct location
I think I did. I opened the xbox folder, and opened the Stardew folder, copied that address and pasted it into the smapi installer
the location should be C:\XboxGames\Stardew Valley\Content
Works now, thank you. Not sure why it didn't before. Maybe I did just copy the path wrong
my game crashed when loading the save file(i let it sit idle), it closed out of the app and gave me the error code "CWorkThreadPool:StartWorkThread: Thread creation failed"

the error code was from steam as well
that seems like something broken on a level beyond stardew
I tried googling the error and didn't really get much helpful stuff
I have a question, regarding mods. When making custom houses, is it okay to use any 8-bit painter app just like creating NPCs not making new fresh tile sheets but something to replace Existing tile sheets
