So once you've done that, re-enable Elle's Seasonal and Foliage redone, but then disable Mixed Bag Tilesheets (which is my guess), Tidy Pam, and Elle's Town Animals

Assuming you have version 1.4 mobile and get it legally, there is only particular smapi that works for that version. And also only particular mod will work

Most of your mods are normal and should not cause what you're showing. I would suspect XNB mods first here.
Even if I ignore them, I know almost all look pristine - I could only personaly suspect Activate Sprinklers, maybe automatic gates, and Movement Speed, but none of those match a farmer rendering error. None of them also affect shoes

If you're making custom content, ask mod authors in #making-mods-general about whether using Json Assets (!ja) would be more suitable instead.

@azure sky Hello I read to ping you from your Simple Foliage nexus page. I keep getting a silly little bug and I can't figure out how to fix it. I put it in the bugs section of your nexus page with my log. Basically what is happening is smapi keeps giving me an error where it has to skip SP because the textures folder is empty of assets. Re-downloading and replacing the mod helps for one day and the next it has the issue again. holy is correct. Seasonal Cute and Seasonal Cute SVE are both editing later than the DCBurger/Lunakatt portraits
so they take priority. Disable them in at least SCA's config - I don't know about SCA-SVE's config

I realized that I have the DGA version of PPJA farmer to florist, so have to go de-update that. do any other PPJA's have to be de-updated?
Only issues I saw ingame were Fashion Sense mirror not actually being received even though it was in the mail, and lots of mail but only one of them had an item, the vanilla cookies event. But maybe none of them were meant to have items (except the florist mail)
And of course the random disconnects.

I wonder if it really is just the servers stardew uses messing up for us. It's hard to even test for it because like you said sometimes you can go ages without any issues. and only once in like 20 disconnectys over the day did both my players disconnect at the same time.

Dynamic Reflections has been acting weird for months at this point, I think - it generally works fine, but some areas sometimes simply don't have the sky reflections when other areas do, most prominently Cindersap Forest and sometimes GI. Anyone an idea what might be causing that?

It might. The issues were always disconnects, so obviously the players were already connected. so it wasn't the matchmaking that was being an issue, but one of them did say that a couple times they couldn't reconnect right away.

stardrop can be used in a similar way to vortex. although beware that if you were using vortex and clicking the download button called Vortex on the mod pages, even when you were using vortex thats a bad idea. that button only download the first file it sees, which doesn't include optional files, other required files, or fix files. But both vortex and stardrop are able to latch onto the other download buttons. Just watch out for if vortex is still stealing the downloads before stardrop
The files you download zips/rars can go anywhere (preferably not in stardew) but the stuff you extract out of them always goes in the mods folder in stardew. Stardrop makes its own folder in the mods folder which is where it puts its mods. you can put yours in either its folder or the mods folder. I don't know if they need to be in its folder for it to detect them, youll have to test it yourself.
Also that image you just posted, although it says those are all the mods you require, you should check the description tab and its required list instead. its more accurate because it includes the mod authors notes

Because that will get the file back if they own the game
And yes that means even if they changed it
A changed file will still be validated back to normal.
I guess I didn't think of it in that way. I was thinking more laong the line of a particular person rather than group. if it was a pirate missing only a hats file then its such a small part and if they've come that far it makes no difference. But i'll avoid it from now on

Sophia's is a separate download and a replacer - you have to replace the portrait files in the SVE folder for the SVE ones
The regular ones are a content patcher pack, so it works out of the box

First of all, I'm almost positive Deluxe Journal isn't multiplayer compatible

#1: Ridgeside is an expansion. It will boost load times.
#2: PyTK is a load time killer. I'd throw it since most mods don't depend on it now/have a relevant update to drop the requirement

SpriteMaster (https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/4922) is a mod that resamples the game's graphics to be smoother and improves performance.
install that to reduce load times, and you can disable resampling to disable the graphical changes

Hey guys I was hoping someone could help me with a grass mod problem. Hopefully this is the right place to ask!
I previously had [MG] Wildflower Grass Field installed and it was working fine.
I wanted to switch to Garden Grass so I deleted the Wildflower Mod Folder and added in Garden Grass.
But the grass when I load the game is back to the OG.
I was just wondering is this 1. How i switched them or 2. A problem with Garden Grass or something else.

I realized that I have the DGA version of PPJA farmer to florist, so have to go de-update that. do any other PPJA's have to be de-updated?
Only issues I saw ingame were Fashion Sense mirror not actually being received even though it was in the mail, and lots of mail but only one of them had an item, the vanilla cookies event. But maybe none of them were meant to have items (except the florist mail)
And of course the random disconnects farmhands experience.

Just got disconnected. Ping with the host was perfect. 45 miliseconds with no spikes pinging every second, my own ping was perfect as well. None of the documentation has helped so far.

The latest released version of PPJA (Project Populate Json Assets, a popular mod) is a conversion from JA to DGA, but it has some bugs in it, and the mod author has retired. Sticking with the older JA version is probably your best option.
You can download the JA version from the Old Files section on Nexus, or by downloading the latest versions of the standalone components instead of the megapack (except for Farmer to Florist, where you would need to look under Old Files in the standalone version).
The second-most-recent Farmer to Florist is JA too
@still pine Honestly this might be easier for you to test than me since your mod list is so small. For starters you could try playing vanilla for a while and if you do get a disconnect still then it must either be modded game density, or a server issue and therefore not much we can do. But if the disconnects stop then it could again but unlikely be mods causing desync or something, or a particular mod being an issue. Yet now there would only be like 10 mods to test removing one by one. The problem though.... is that basically every mod we have in common is a very common mod so the odds of it being a mod's fault are low. JA, SAAT, Spacecore, ContentPatcher
Pretty much the only mod you have that I don't is medival texture stuff. But everything else surely would of prompted it being a more widespread issue
Ya i just got dropped again, started some ping tests to some of the gog servers I noticed it using, no issues at all, perfect connection to them while getting disconnected so... yay.

I'm just going to be upfront here: It's not going to be the mods, it's going to be Stardew's netcode. I wouldn't personally advise wasting your time trying to debug it, but if you would prefer to check yourself, be my guest.
The "major" mods do not cause disconnects like you describe given, well, gestures to at least half of modded multiplayer using SVE, which uses those mods direful listed
Im getting dropped every 5 minutes, if it was the netcode you think it would effect everyone equally but it seems to effect some and not others.
It hits at different times.
One night in vanilla, a friend of mine literally could not connect. Their Stardew was fine, it just hated him that night.
Literally nothing we could do except wait until the next session.
The netcode liked me enough that I almost never disconnected, but my friends disconnected fairly often. Sometimes we had great sessions, sometimes everyone kept DC'ing
Like I said. It's SDV netcode. You can have fun debugging if you'd prefer, but you won't find anything that affects you but no one else, especially framework wise
That's all I'll say on the subject.
It feels better to have a concrete answer than a vague answer that nobody can backup
But I will say after seeing universums mod list 99% leaning to it just being stardews fault not mods. Which means I doubt it will be solved but after coming this far mine as well check.
It's the how much this is happening and to so few and that its never happened to me before that makes me question it
and that its so random no similarity betweeen disconnects, each user disconnecting at a different time, no observed issues even for the person in the same house as me

As soon as we switched to LAN there, no more disconnects
If it does turn out to be the netcode I want to just move on from me. its been 2.5 irl days of disconnects. usually often enough that all my other users lose some form of progress from each ingame day
So.. I think it has to do with the main server the game uses for me is GOG server 77.79.249.151 in POLAND

Just a quick question! According to my steam I need to update PyTK to 1.24.0 but there's only PyTK lite under that number... do I just ignore the "Hey update this" or do I swap to the lite?

There is a usecase for XNBs on up-to-date PC stardew - if you're adding a lot of large maps, having Content Patcher load them as XNBs instead of TMXs can aid load times - but aside from that we basically don't put things in XNB format anymore
I mean that doesn't answer my question and isn't really relevant? I'm using the current version of the "Full" PyTK. It still has the little download symbol, and my game says I'm using the 1.23.0 version, the full version's most recent update is 1.23.0 and hasn't updated since august of last year.
The -LITE- version has updated to 1.24.0 last week. You cannot use the lite and full version at the same time according to the downloads, but there are no other instructions. So are the lite and full versions effectively the same? Is the lite version meant to replace the full version? If I swap to the lite version will it screw up my games?

SVE does not use Pytk
Most of what the lite version does is explained somewhere on the nexus page
But in theory you should have no need for pytk
The update checker doesn't care which file on the page has a bigger version number than the one in the downloaded manifest.json unless the manifest has been specifically configured to use an extra-precise update key
@quaint relic Also as further evidence I have 400+ mods in my pretty vast playthrough and only 1 mod required pytk, and it was a mod I didn't care much for that I replaced with another mod that does a similar thing. (and removing pytk saved me almost 2 minutes on my load times 🙂 ) one way to check what mods are using pytk is to disable it and see if any dependancy warning appear when you launch the game

my guess is that the png are in a wrong folder causing lucikiel popping up in lorax, redownloading it might fix it

I'm trying to get SMAPI on the steam deck so i downloaded it and extracted the files and I'm trying to run "install on linux" but absolutely nothing happens when I do
try opening a terminal and running the script from it for error messages (or try adding an execute permission to it)

Looks like you have the DGA version of PPJA, which is known to be buggy (it was machine-converted and never bugtested, and the mod authors left modding basically immediately after uploading it)
switching to the JA version may help
there isn't much in the log - whatever error you're getting when the game crashes isn't getting logged for some reason
I disabled the mod but the game was glitching out like the crop was still there ready for harvest just invis
yeah that's normal for disabling a DGA or JA crop mod, just pickaxe them

Honestly, I don't think this save can be saved without manual save editing at this point, and bundles are a mess in the save as is

Yeah, this is classic bundles corruption
usually caused by using a bundles mod
I'm not sure this is repairable, btw

When two mods both edit dialogue or images, whichever mod loads last "wins" and is the one you see in the game. Vintage Candle, Cute Bouquet and Pendant, Crab cage, and leather shoes.... I'm pretty sure are fairly targeted? They would override some things in Peachy Objects but I don't think everything?

Ok so I'm having an issue, I impregnated my Jamnapari (BFAV Indian Animals) with the syringe from AnimalHusbandryMod and it's giving birth. There were no issues buying the animal or impregnating it or any other aspect of AHM, but for some reason when I try to name the new baby pressing ok makes the button press sound but doesn't do anything. I can still type and randomize name and everything else except advance screen (enter also doesn't work). There also doesn't seem to be an error involved.
Also neither mod is in need of updating

could the overlay in Blue Grass recolor combined with loading after PeachyObjects do it? (Blue Grass only recolors what we call debris BUT uses an overlay to do it)
an overlay shouldn't disturb things
a patch export is sort of the ground truth of what springobjects looks like
so you could try that if there's still issues

Did it have text in log? Like ones that didn’t make it to the log but were in terminal?

Happend once when walking from farm to town. The rest of the time it’s when I go to sleep, it loads the next day but it crashes around every other day.
Just black screen while loading but it crashes or smapi stops responding permanently, I don’t click the screen I just let I go (not sure if that has an effect)
