Hello, need some help with a problem again... So story is we tried adding another slot for one more friend to join us, took a bit of work but with some backups + trial and error we managed and it worked fine. Now, a day after, one of the players duplicated (overwritten the newest farmer) and all of them except for the host and myself get these error messages.
We reverted to our old back up (before adding the new player slot) and its still giving us the same error. Any idea on what it could be?

An older back up did work, from 2 days ago, but at least it works.
If someone here knows, what is the correct way to add more players slots? We tried 3 methods: adding the whole <farmhand><name with a different unique id, adding a cabin with a different id, and changing the player limit.
Only the cabin method worked for us, but it ended up causing troubles the day after as i mentioned earlier

@ArcaneDescent @JessYoMama You can do it without a mod. Go to %appdata%/StardewValley and open the file called startup_preferences. ctrl + f for "playerLimit" and you'll find something like this: <playerLimit>-1</playerLimit>.
Change the -1 to any number you like...

Your SVE map patches are loading, so I'm guessing one of the old mods had to be interfering somehow

does anyone know if SVE and RSV conflict in the ways of how gunther works? i have noticed that in my playthrough where i have both expansions Gunther isnt how he should be in SVE, he’s basically back to being the vanilla NPC and I cant even walk behind his counter to introduce myself to him. when i play on my SVE only save he walks around, I can gift him, go behind his counter, ect. Its not game affecting for me but Im confused haha.

okay, what do you need help with
hello friends i have a multiplayer issue! i'm currently playing a multiplayer server with one (now two) others. when it was just us two, the game worked fine, we were able to sleep with no issues, yadda yadda. when the third person joins, there's a noticeable time desync (sleepy is sometimes one, maybe two hours behind) and then we all can't go to bed without the game crashing. it's been groundhog day lol. the exact steps we took each day: wake up, nogard requests to build a cabin at 9am, sleepy joins, then we go to bed. it lags at waiting for players 3/3 for a while and then fades to the black screen after a minute OR if sleepy leaves the bed. then my game shits the bed and here we are

retyped again and got 182 me, 213 sleepy

the current time in our game shows as 11:30am for me, 12:30pm for sleepy, 11:30 for nogard (host)

What is the mismatched mod?
So we have this problem when this person goes into the woods, the gam freezes and they have to close it. No one has encountered this problems tho.

could it possibly be because of the timespeed mod (which keep in mind the entire folder worked fine before the third person joined, like, literally no issues)
but the third person's time is always one hour out of sync with mine and the host's
like usually one hour forward for no discernible reason
Like on my MP group I accidentally forgot I had CJB time freeze on and didn't realize for an in game day
(It's a testing save)
I know the sync barrier stuff is timeout related.
at one point, third person got stuck in a map loading screen going from farm to the bus stop and all time in the game froze at 11am for like. several minutes until they loaded in. and then it was fine. but they were an hour behind after that

If you see that with a mobile thing, it's a high chance it's a cracked copy

Currently those tokens allow any value, so the player could put "ScarecrowRadius": "really big" in their config file. Try restricting to a set of known values instead, so Content Patcher knows they're integer-only tokens. For example:

How do you define such a config option in CP, without preset values?
Currently using preset values, you can't specify a min/max value. Content Patcher will detect that it's a numeric range, which will (a) turn it into a slider in GMCM and (b) let you use it in numeric fields.

hey guys! hoping someone here can help me. I had SDV on my previous computer, but that died so i built a new one. Installed steam, smapi, mods etc. Everytime i try to play, the game freezes and an unresponsive error comes up, with the options to wait for the program to respond or close. I've tried uninstalling/ reinstalling smapi, SDV, deleting and reinstalling mods. I initally had 255 mods and ive managed to reduce it down to 90 or so. My save files were backed up to the cloud so i still have those. Tried to load old saves, no luck. Tried to start a new game- no luck. Just freezes each time. Ive attached my smapi log- nothing needs to be updated from what i can see. Yeah I know, but I was hoping that there was a fix to this issue? It’s happened before with another steam game but I just don’t remember how I fixed it before

I have recently started looking at mods for Stardew to add to my experience, and I found the "seasonal outfits slightly cuter aesthetic" mod but I am not a fan of how the overworld sprite look, they look way too soft and round in a way, is there an alternative mod thats just the seasonal outfits without that "cuteness"?
