i have started a new load and I get mails from my previous load in my mailbox (especially the ones from the Marketplace Day mod) I also got Marnie's chat that appears when you get a building for the animals. How can I fix this? I don't mind losing my previous games

I would recommend Idaida's furniture, but it's a really different vibe, though it also has AT so you can mix and match. When I used country furniture I also used CF industrial furniture to fill the gaps, but I'm not sure if it's outdated now.
Idaida also has matching craftable and wallpaper mods, so everything looks good together

Translations are highly broken with SVE, from what I hear

I have gone through previous messages in this group and Iāve seen messages saying to delete them since theyāre no longer compatible. Iām having issues with the seasonal garden farmhouse v2 mod which the vanilla version of the house is trying to overlay my farmhouse. How do I still use the farmhouse v2 mod without tmxl and pytk?
You'd have to convert the TMXL portion to work with CP

Unfortunately the TMXL portion is the a custom location with the farmhouse thing... so you've got the hard part rather than the easy ones (spouse rooms/festival locations)

I have a few mods on my game and for some reason, itās causing horrible loading time and will even crash sometimes. I have to alt f4 out and reload my game and I have no idea whatās wrong

But really, run the new installer, then just unzip mods to the new mods folder when reinstalled

If you're using Steam or GOG on Windows, you will need to set your launch options in order for Steam/GOG to automatically launch with SMAPI. The SMAPI installer will tell you what to set as the launch options when it completes (green text). You can find instructions (with screenshots) on how to do that here: https://stardewvalleywiki.com/Modding:Installing_SMAPI_on_Windows#Configure_your_game_client
Basically do the reverse of this.
If you delete the launch options and that doesn't work, then you're missing Stardew Valley's exe, and that can only be solved by verifying game files

Hello! I have a co-op game where my friend joined in Summer Year 1 -- and we can't figure out how to get the Lewis cutscene so she can start the questline to be able to read the junimo text.
It's modded, so I can run debug commands, but I don't know how to tell the game to modify her quest/mail/event log rather than mine
You don't need the Lewis cutscene
you should just be able to have them walk in and read the thingy

Hm. Odd. I know in vanilla that people who joined literally sessions late (6 out of 10 of my group joined after the first 14 days!) were all able to read the CC text and do that just fine

She goes into the community center, looks at the bundle and sees the symbols, and then over the next few days hasn't gotten the letter.
There is some flag that could be set probably but I don't know what that is

So in your case, go into Custom Spouse Room's config file, set Jio as first and order the rest
In Custom Spouse Rooms, there's a config.json
open that in a text editor like notepad
Then type. Make sure to use the same syntax - only alter what's in-between the quotes, and don't add spaces anywhere

I don't know what did it, but in the process of duplicating what happens, she got the "Visit the Wizard" quest and completing that had the usual result of being able to see the bundles and read junimo text! So problem is solved.
It turns out Vortex inputs all the mods into the mod folder, thankfully
hello, is anyone available to help me with SVE error?
I had an error where my vanilla bachelors and bachelorettes where missing heart events and i found out it was content patcher which is a requirement for SVE so after trying to fix it unsuccessfully multiple time i decide to delete all of my mods and smapi. After installing smapi again and reinstalling just SVE i loaded the game but saw that SVE wasnāt working. I checked smapi and i just got this yellow wall of text. Iām confused because i didnāt get this the first time i successfully download SVE.
Alright, we have several issues here
first, your mods are not in the correct filepath
You donāt have SVE installed in the log screenshot
They don't have any which is the main problem XD

Second content patcher wouldn't be the problem of your vanilla bachelor/ettes not having heart events - in fact, if you didn't have content patcher, SVE could not run
And third, missing events for vanilla would make me suspect XNB rather than anything else
So first - we'll wait for your screenshot
After uninstalling all of my mods i reinstalled and decided to be more organized.. idk if thatās the problem
Second mods should be in /Users/anelissediaz/Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/Stardew Valley/Contents/MacOS/Mods

Also a log was requested for a reason. It makes troubleshooting easier
Error Handler is stating quite bluntly it isn't installed or is not loading. The separate screenshots of the SMAPI console is only giving us information piece by piece
Since your console indicates you can load your save, if you are unable or unwilling to get the log normally

When I need to do this, I just find the item name in-game, then go to my Mods folder and search for that name in the search bar. Not sure if it'll work for your items.

....that is a portraiture mod.
I assume you're using PyTK and Portraiture, but I don't know that system.
Further it appears that many have had trouble using that particular mod

if you have it and the mod that relies on it (tool upgrade delivery service), remove both and installed mail services mod instead

hellloooo, trying to swap my current farm (Grandpa's Farm) to a new farm (Zenith farm https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/15618?tab=description)
the creater does say that you can use the farm on an existing save if you are on a modded farm that replaces the default farms.
When i open the config file to change the "ReplaceVanillaFarm" i do not see a line in the config to change. Is there something im doing wrong?

there's a console command to change your farm type in smapi
so you would install the mod with CFL so that the farm type exists and then i guess in-game use the console command to change your farm type to the custom one
set_farm_type
use set_farm_type list to make sure that you get the right ID for the farm map

So Automate.. Can you not link fruit trees with connectors into a chest? It works fine if I have a chest beside the tree, but using connector paths don't seem to do anything. I have a simple set up with tapper trees linked with them into a chest and it works just fine

You can uninstall it the same way you installed it, by opening it's file up, just hit 2 instead of 1. But you don't have to uninstall it in order to update it, it automatically cleans itself up for you

That's not the trinkets mod that's the alternative texture pack, Which explains why I didn't see it.but at the same time.
In order to get the alternative textures you do have to use the paint can on the furniture stuff.
If you want the rest of them you have to download the regular Trinkets mod
To put it another way,there is no AT version there is an AT pack.
The pack is extra,not a replacement

yeah i've been assuming that's the issue just no idea how to fix it

I cannot even get smapi to run, Vortex just says Failed to run tool, says the executable doesnt exist
Vortex has been broken for installing SMAPI for over a year now

also cant get it to run by just going to the file directly and launching the app that way
Sprites in detail is a newer mod and I think sometimes it just isnāt working right with patches on top
download it manually from Nexusmods or smapi.io, run the installer, then hook it up that way

If you say that "Content Patcher packs load after the C# mods" then we'd be unable to move Sprites in Detail later

I tried some of the ones on the wiki that it lists as working. DustSpirit and GreenSlime do not work. And when I tried RockCrab, it spat out a veeeeery long exception in console.
It may be something recent, then, that bugged it up (well, recent for 1.5.6 standards). It might be fixed in 1.6 - if not, not sure it'd be worthwhile to fix at present

In some rare cases, you may need to use the compatibility branch in order to play Stardew Valley, but SMAPI does not run with the compatibility branch. Right click sdv in steam library then properties. Click beta and see if it says none or compatibility. If it says compatibility then you can't run smapi
correct
if your game doesn't run without the compatibility setting, then there is nothing you can do, mods won't work
period
