Okay, ignore everything I've said. The Smapi log was a huge red herring and the fix was actually really simple. Fixed version is up on Nexus.
Turns out the log was a big red herring. Those warnings had nothing to do with the issue, which I have now fixed.

i have removed a lot of my food recipes and its still telling me that even tho i saved a day
also i have no idea what the other crafting recipes are that i need and i have no way of finding them

edit: i just read up and I had a similar problem when I removed PPJA recipes mid save. even though I removed the recipes manually - some iteration of them was still in the savefile.
if you add stardew progress and it crashes when you try to run it, then you're experiencing the same problem I was having. basically crafting recipes are removed when you remove the mod that added them, but food recipes are not.
you could use perfection tweaker mod to edit the number of recipes you have to cook. i ended up making a new save because I wanted to be able to use stardew progress towards achieving perfection

good luck! btw the game itself doesn't crash if you try to run stardew progress with "missing" recipe data. the SP window just doesn't come up when you toggle the key for it
I'm trying to use this mod and it's spitting out this error. I'm fairly certain the error is on the challenging bundle end as even when I don't overwrite as the Balance Overhaul suggests, it still spits out the same error. ok! so I've definitely used CCCB-vanilla recently and it worked but I wasn't using it with SVBO. If you temporarily take out SVBO does it still throw the error?

tysm! i actually do have a few recipes that the mod isn't able to find because i probably removed them some time ago but the rest is working completely fine and now i can see which items arent shipped yet from the mod and the recipes! ur a lifesaver <3

I know CCCB has a Vanilla setting for vanilla-but-hard bundles. And it has a pure vanilla setting for when you want to go back to actual vanilla-not-hard bundles. SVBO also seems to have a vanilla config for reverting back to....CCCB's vanilla? bundles? This is the part I'm having trouble with
b/c it feels like the error is essentially saying there are two keys trying to do the same thing

Hi all, I'm wondering if anyone would have any idea why, when I put my farmer to sleep, the tools box is still there. But if she passes out, it disappears and I can't get it back. I can still use the tools by memory but my inventory box is completely gone as well as the information such as what kinda luck day it is in the top right hand corner disappears.
Can you go into the Stardew Valley Balance Overhaul folder, remove: [CCCB] Stardew Valley Balance Overhaul
Then go into the ChallengingCommunityCenterBundles folder, open the config, and put in Vanilla.
And then try and run your game again?

OK so I could be wrong (maybe one of the coders will eventually drop by and correct/clarify) but I think what's happening is the content json of the [CCCB] Challenging Vanilla Bundles has a Vanilla key (it looks like this in the code:

[CCCB] Stardew Valley Balance Overhaul's content json file... ALSO has that same key.

and I think they're in conflict with each other regardless of what the config is trying to do

OK well, here's the thing. If you look at all the Challenging Bundle options, you'll notice they all have three folders: ChallengingCommunityCenterBundles, [CCCB] Challenging Pure Vanilla Bundles, and [CCCB] Whatever Pack You Chose
like this all said, I'd rather try out SVBO, but if it can't be saved 
the first one is the C# to make it work, the second is the fallback if you change your mind, and the third is whatever one you went with: vanilla, sve, ppja, ppja sve

yep! I think you might need to toss the third one entirely and use the SVBO one instead

Just throwing this out there, but have you considered the possibility that Social Page Order should support Lookup Anything instead of the other way around?

That's good, and it looks like you have quite a few updates to download (or remove if you don't want them anymore)
Most importantly, it says your ErrorHandler is out of date, and that alone can fix some issues. So the way to update that is to delete the old one and reinstall SMAPI.

Go to your Stardew Valley mods folder and look for a folder named Error Handler, and delete it
Then you just re-run the SMAPI installer

The way I see it is Lookup Anything handles things pretty agnostically (it works based on the expectations of the vanilla game), and this is the case when it comes to the social page. If Social Order can do things in a more vanilla-friendly way, it probably should since that ensures compatibility beyond just Lookup Anything.

Just download the latest version of those mods (and delete any older versions you already have)

With how many mods needs updating, you may have an easier time by moving all of your old mods out of the Mods folder, and just redownloading whatever you want to keep playing with into it

seems like your save file is slightly corrupted. not sure how it happened, but I can probably fix it for you if you send it to me

look at the message under theirs, they used a bot command to link to troubleshooting stuff for multiplayer

the easiest way is to just use SMAPI's built-in console command: set_farm_type
you can use set_farm_type list to see a list of loaded farm types
you have to put that in the actual console window and not in the in-game chat

Anyways, somebody has extended PyTK's ScaledTexture2D, and overridden STexture so that it does an array lookup, but I guess that the array is not yet initialized.
in this case, it's an AnimatedTexture2D, but it doesn't have any frames.
so STexture ends up throwing an exception because PyTK has no concept of resiliency
and SM tries to query the PyTK textures to figure out what the underlying textures are
Hi! I asked a day or so ago about if there's a way to completely remove the excessive respawning grass that SVE added (Android). Somebody said it shouldn't regrow outside of the farm but it does. So, does anyone know of a way to disable/remove respawning grass on android? Thanks!

Okay I switched my farm maps from Grandpa's Farm to WAFFle with the smapi command but how do i fix things like my farmhouse and chests being in a cliffside?
i just closed the game without saving for now until i get that sorted out

I accepted Robin 1000 wood bulletin request and I was in Cindersnap getting wood in Co-op. Then we went to sleep and then next day I went to Cindersnap to get more wood and my game doesn't let me enter the forest anymore it just crashes but I'm able to go everywhere else just fine

ive updated PyTK too before i got the unofficial update and even with that i still get that error message
the entire game works fine its just when i go tot cindersnap forrest that it crashes and brings up the red error
That's helpful as a way to narrow down what mod is likely causing the issue then. If the game itself is working fine that makes more sense than how I was initially reading the log XD

it was working fine and then i accepted the 1000 robin wood request and i was in cindersnap getting wood and then we went to sleep and the next in game day i went back and my entire game crased

What I'm seeing - since most of the mods you use I actually use - is that right before you enter the forest ("Warping to forest") in the trace the game edits Data/Events/Forest from Date Night/Platonic Relationships. My honest guess is Date Night screws with it

That might clear up your problem for now, but not forever, MinJin. You can if you'd like, error handler should fix any events removed, but I would just make sure the same mods are on both players

mod version. I'd probably have to check the SVE install on android instructions since I don't use it, but given the update days? I'd bet money Expanded Preconditions Utility at the least needs 1.0.0
So you have at least one incorrect mod version. Stardew Valley Expanded has specific mod versions needed for android since it's on 1.4

The Error Handler mod is meant to deal with problems by uninstalling mods. In Date Night's case, removing it would have references to events which would then no longer exist
we had already been play for 2 hours fine yesterday and then i accepted the request foraged for wood went to sleep in game and then woke up in game went to forest and then that red error came up
If you want to test if it works in vanilla, I would boot StardewValley.exe (the vanilla game) found in the local files (click cog on "Stardew Valley" in steam, browse local files)
and the issue still persists today we both have tried everything and it still keeps happening ;^;
And if you want to remove Date Night, only remove Date Night to start

Hmmmm. Okay then first vanilla game wouldn't have worked in the first place, so that's on me. Second- Sebastian and Sam mods are different mods, so depending on which ones (dialogue/portrait ones should be fine, others... not so much) you may have issues

Alright, so:
Content Patcher mods, including Date Night, should be fine. This does not conflict, and error handler should correct it if it would. That said, I still would test deleting it and just it - the errors indicate some sort of NPC animation thing. (I really hope someone who can read the errors better than I can is around soon as well, they might be more helpful)
CJB Cheats/Item Spawner should probably be installed on both, but realistically multiplayer you would just see the effects of item spawning when you're missing that.
Your PyTK frameworks need to be the same version. I know you said you tried updating it, but that is necessary.
Most of your mods look to be fine. The issue appears to be Json Assets, as it's not loading for you, MinJin, even though you say the error was happening beforehand
Please note from the wiki, MinJin: Any mod that adds completely new items that don't exist in the base game needs to be installed by all players. If anyone is missing a custom item mod, it can cause crashes, give you error items, break your save, or stop farmhands from joining.
Json Assets, by default, is meant to add new items to the game entirely.

I don't know which mod they have that's adding it, but that's likely the issue as it was likely working because the item did not exist until the sleep

Honestly. Tough question. Every single mod of yours is crashing on entry and none of us are expert experts on the older SMAPI that is Android. My best advice for now - until and unless we get an Android expert - delete and reinstall everything. the vanilla game, SMAPI, and all mods. If it still happens, honestly I think you'll have to wait for someone who's an expert who can help

for yami: The serializer warning SMAPI gives for SpaceCore is because SpaceCore takes out custom mod items from your save (not JA items, think like custom tools) so that it doesn't break if you try to load it without mods.
It's a good thing to watch for that warning, but in this case it is just SpaceCore trying to keep your save safe.

On mobile, Stardew Valley's save method is based upon the system used for computers, but with some additions to make it more suited to mobile devices.
The game saves progress when the in-game day ends, i.e., when the farmer goes to bed, collapses from exhaustion, or collapses at 2am. All progress during a day is lost if the player quits the game without ending the day. In multiplayer, the game saves after all players click through the prompts at end of day and wake up in the morning.

Second, when loading a farm, it's loading the farm with all its mods. Your name indicates you have the two big expansion mods, so that's gonna make it take a while
Third, SpriteMaster mod should help with that, and PyTK increases load times usually

The proper way is to set 'resampling' to 'false'
otherwise you're keeping the entire resampling pipeline enabled, it's just not applying a scaler, but still doing all the work and additional allocations.

Was going to download SMAPI but it gave the option of downloading to Nexus. I dunno what that means but I didn't know that say down the line I need to remove something if downloading to Nexus would make it more difficult to remove than a direct download

I do have to admit, I'm impressed. Not everyone soldiers through the harmony bugs on Android, finally fixes the errors afterwards, and then decides "more mods on Android!" 😛

i guess check against the vanilla Forest and BackWoods maps to see what changes the The Three Amiigos farm does to them and see if you can change them to a smaller map patch for relatively easy compatibility. but it's still some work especially if you haven't done any of it before

it says its missing a bunch of files, so maybe the maps werent loaded properly? id redownload the mod and replace the files, see if that fixes it … looks like the content.json just isnt loading things properly

recolors are very surface level and will not affect anything major like that. just changes an appearance :)

On the save menu you can set to default and it will give you the mod one you instaled

I didn't realize it was outdated, as far as I remember other mods had it a requirement, and I never got errors regarding it before.
the mod was set to hidden back in 2021 because its outdated and not required by any modern mod lol
it is like a 2019-era mod for sure, its been replaced by better frameworks or integrated into other things
so yeah. tldr just take it out, wont cause any issues

I’m finally taking a jump to super expanding the game for my wife and I. I noticed there’s as seasonal villager outfit mod for SVE but not for ridgeside?
ridgeside has over 50 npcs after all

theres simply not enough time in a vanilla day to do all of that stuff

i find 0.7 for outside is nice, 1.4 makes the days a bit long. i have higher numbers for the mines, sc, and volcano dungeon

MP time is helpful for cutscenes

My controller (Switch) is no longer working in Stardew (PC). It's working in other steam games. I checked the settings and gamepad is forced on. Any suggestions? I have over 1k hours logged in this game with the controller. The only thing that's changed is I updated a few mods and added a couple of new ones. I'm gonna try one by one removing them to see if that works... but mods wouldn't mess up my controller would it?

@outer turret sorry for pinging you but I went to bed after sending that, like I said, player 1 went to bed in the hotel in East Scarp and game crashed. I read your messages spanning the next few hours. Might not be an issue with east scarp mod but other mods not liking the location the player sleeps in.
Deep woods has an issue where if a player falls asleep outside on splitscreen it freezes at the save screen for the night. Might be an issue with splitscreen ayers sleeping in different areas or something
Removed deep woods now if a player falls asleep outside at 2am no freeze. But still crashes if one sleeps in hotel.
You can't sleep in the East Scarp hotel so I think it's somewhere else.
Some kind of saving issue maybe. Might be nice to have some kind of mod that forces the game to save and pretend all players were in bed kr what nkt
Player 1 rented a room then was inside the hotel at 2am when this happened. Maybe just 2am inside the building caused the issue?

Thank you for your mods LemurKat my parents are over excited to play with it. I only put 100 hours into vanilla but they put 1000 into vanilla and after 4 days about 40 hours into modded stardew

Some mods (most) rely on other mods to work. In this way mods can be smaller and don't have to reuse code. They should make a bundle of all the app mods are something or at least a page where you can find all the important ones like tile framework or npc exceptions
there's dozens of frameworks
the Requirements dropdown on the Nexus page has links to all of the requirements for a mod
