Someone show me your riverland design

I don't have a riverland design, but I need some ideas on my current farm.

So this is the rendered farm plan of my current save, and in-game it's essentially all finished, just missing some buildings. I want to be able to 100%, but I need to find a place to put obelisks and I'm really not sure where to fit them. I could put them where the silos are next to my animal production shed, but I feel like if I put the silos in my animal pens then it'll look a little crowded. Any ideas on where I can fit my obelisks?

The two tile empty spaces by the silos and by the pond are for shipping bins, and the empty spot to the right of my slime hutch is where my fishing pond is. That random patch of cauliflower by the shed beside the farmhouse is for attempting to grow giant crops, and the empty squares by the gates to the orchard and by the chest in my field are for seasonal decor.

I feel like I've optimized the space pretty well, which doesn't leave much room for new items.... so I need some ideas on how to fit them in, although I'm not confident it's even possible to squeeze them somewhere without changing my farm too drastically

Yes, those are a 3 piece set of rewards from the regular museum. Gunther gives them to you after donating certain bone artifacts to him

They're are not related with the spoilered part of 1.5, they've been there for a long time

@lavish hawk if you moved your horse one tile to the front and chopped the 2 trees, you can probably get 2 of the obelisks right there

Also putting the camp area closer to the tiny lake, could likely fit a third one

And last, all the way left, where you have an oak right in front of your fruit trees, you could replace the oak with the 4th obelisk

Just an idea, thinking on not changing your areas, general layout, fences and stuff

What do people find are the nicest looking items to use as grass feeders? I'm experimenting with ornamental hay bales. They look okay in certain positions. Lightning rods are decent. And I can use the fences of course. What else?

Oh and if you’re concerned about this, you can try out the Harvest With Scythe mod. You can customise it to work with whatever crops / flowers / forage. It helps prevent accidentally harvesting when you’re trying to collect things that are placed next to your plot. 🙂

I've been trying to see if you can get them earlier than the furniture catalog, but the wiki is still having issues. The ornamental hay bales are easy to buy from Marnie at least.

I also pulled the trash cans from the furniture catalog, I vaguely recall those being easy to buy though. The lamps are a crafting recipe, and that's the ||mini obelisk|| from 1.5 between the coop and barn. I really love that thing, even though my pasture is in the lower left of the standard farm, getting there is now easy.

hi i think only the floor pot plants, flooring, carpet, chair, wallpaper are in 1.4

the logs with the hanging plants and the wall plants are 1.5 i think

Hi! Sorry it took me so long, I've been distracted lately and finally managed to get online today! 🙈 Here's the picture of my train station. I originally just wanted to use it as a tree orchard but I don't like having spaces between the trees because it makes it harder to collect / harvest, so I ended up placing kegs and preserve jars between the maple and oak trees.

Honestly I can mostly think of making beach farm full of fruit trees to make wine and other stuff plus fishing. Animals would feel silly to me and hmm... Really want to see what other people have done with it

If you heard of Pig Beach (Try Google), you can turn beach farm into pig ranches. I was told that grass can grow on sand (don't ask why) in game

There are mods you can use to allow sprinklers on sand though!

If your not using mods use the soil to your advantage with sprinklers

I use sturgeon and lava eels in fish ponds and i use the shed for storage, crafting areas and kegs etc.

Honestly since animals feel wrong to me to be on sand and so on, I cant think of anything to fill the space nicely >.< Also this is too many trees even when they would be many different ones. Gaah but I love the way the farm looks damn 😄

well this is my second farm (i had one on 1.3), so i already have stardew valley experience so to say and also instead of bundles i went the joja route, where you can just pay for the greenhouse, also im at the end of fall, almost winter

I heard that upload.farm moved to a new server or something like that but I'm not sure how to access the site now
gonna try chrome (I've been using opera gx) to see if I'll get anything different

Looks like it's just the site's certificate that expired. You should still be able to continue to the site by clicking past the warning message, and I imagine the site's devs will have the issue fixed soon

Edit: I should have actually clicked through before myself, it looks like a bigger problem than just an expired certificate.
