1.5 hurry uppp
and what mostly got me like new has been PPJA in this newer farm I'm in right now
Yeah,
Mods don't really help me
And I'm not getting sve
Before I started it I was actually getting a bit tired of having most of my desired work done in 1 or 1.5 years
Yeah
SVE I'm not that much interested in, I'd rather have mods that are less of a mess when new version of the game comes out... Or at least less game breaking if you some day don't have them anymore
Yeah agree
Mods should be added in steam workshop
But mods don't come from the author, wdym in steam workshop?
Yeah I don't think that would work
Let me dream ok
Lol
Still trying for the fish?
Yeah,
Thing won't bite
I keep restarting the day and I'm only getting like 1 or 2 bites a day
This has taken you 48 hours+
But this is for farm designs let's move to #stardew-spoilers
moved storage, preserves, kegs, and furnaces to a shed, and moved some stuff around
after selling all that starfruit ill expand the farm to the left a bit more
Barn placement makes me angry for some reason
My barn is on the left of my crops (same place as urs)
Like that
yeah the placement is a bit off to me too but it lets me expand crops more evenly to the left
now i have a ton more space
Are there a way to see your farmlandscape for android?
Mack, how about you move barns and coops to the bottom right corner? Gives the animals good space and still lets you expand crops more to the left
Like the space the trees are in the left, but to the right for the animals
Are there a way to see your farmlandscape for android?
Yep! The guide in the pins covers how you can get an image of your entire farm :)
That looks really nice
Don't you need another scarecrow for the top part of the plot left to the greenhouse?
This my farm I have aboutttt...4 years on?
Still tweaking things to make it look more town-y and not so crop-y
How do you even take care of a farm like that?
It's... a lot of work xd
I have like 5 friendos that hops in every once in a while
so they have their own lil tiny garden (aka 1 iridium sprinkler) to grow whatever they want
Give them a bigger garden lol
nah, can't spoil too much xd
There quite a bit of space to give them a bigger garden
Ehhh. They prefer to have a convenient house location (to go around the world) more so than a bigger personal garden uwu

Good farm
Maybe clear the dead crops
Looks messy
@shadow furnace
Neverplaypubg?
Don't you need another scarecrow for the top part of the plot left to the greenhouse?
@red obsidian you're right! I forgot about that. Thanks for pointing that out
No problem!
I have @broken folio why do you ask?
I'm someone else XD
@red obsidian ty for the advice, ill try that
there's an option to take a screenshot of the farm in the menu
where in the menu?
it's the last config option
menu -> option -> screenshot
i found the screen shot button but how do i look at it
sorry im kinda a noob with this stuff
find the folder of the screenshots
After you take the screenshot there's a button to open the folder it was put in

Nice!!
what question
The bottom right side of my farm for Year 2 ~~ maybe a bit less sheds~~ What it looks like in my head
Anything to add in the terrain in the picture above?
Grass to keep your animals happy, and a path through the grass to easily get to the doors and stuff
also maybe a double gate instead of a single, as well as a gate on the left side of the walls for easier access
I already have grass there, too lazy to do it in the planner
At one point the potatoes will be replace by strawbeerries
72 rhubarb and 72 potatoes
thats a lot of money right there
well, i have decided to make a new farm which is the standard farm... cause i regret choosing the riverland so... like, where do people get inspiration to design their farm layout?
Just clear out most of the debris and trees and go with the flow
Or at least that's how I did it
I tend to look at the empty farm plans on Stardew Planner and think about where I want things like animal buildings and an orchard to eventually go, and clear/build accordingly. But in Year 1 the crop field always ends up near the water and then slowly moved as necessary after I get sprinklers. I haven't gotten fancy with a layout like these yet though. 🙂
Well that's good
I see, maybe I’m just overthinking about it
The bottom right side of my farm for Year 2 ~~ maybe a bit less sheds~~ What it looks like in my head
@nimble creek
Well. Do you have a purpose for each shed? If you dont have a purpose for each one, get rid of the ones you dont.
I second the grass comment but you already have it. You could line a path from the gate to the machines and barns if you felt creative but each path tile takes away 1 potential truffle space... though you've got plenty.
Hi does anyone know if I can build my coops and barns in the area where there’s hard wood that spawns every day? I’m on the forest farm
I wouldn't recommend building stuff on top of a hardwood stump, both because you'll have to clear it beforehand and because then it'll stop spawning free hardwood every day! I'm pretty sure I had a building over in that part of my forest farm briefly, though.
Thanks! I don’t mind not having a ton of free hardwood anymore. I have around 500 saved up so I’m going to slow down on it 😂😂
Oh. Yeah, that should hold you for a while 😄
Also I’m not new! Just haven’t ever wanted to try the forest farm until now. Looks aesthetically pleasing in some screenshots I’ve seen
it was my first farm and I liked it a lot!
I’m honestly already finding it a bit difficult for farm space. I’m too used to the standard farm oof
Yeah, I never end up filling my entire farm with crops tbh. Too much effort. 🙂
Tons of effort! Keeps me busy though, I have a 1 year old that is independent and only needs me to feed her at this point so I have a lot of time on my hands (most of the day anyways)
The first time I found the greenhouse it was at night and I didn't realize I was back on my farm and I passed out 😆
this was my forest farm
Ahh! That looks nice! I’m trying to keep the forest vibe too!
I also never did finish clearing it. It has a lot of trees. A lot. 😄
I think I picked the forester profession because I was using a lot of wood early on, and ended up with more wood than I knew what to do with.
that's probably what I'll do if I go back to that save 😄
...
I kinda liked the before better
before have so much places with nothing useful
I mean so does aftee
Doesn't really matter
I'd just keep em in a spot where you can access everywhere else and still give ur cattle space to roam
Be creative with the tree variants
Reminder that you need Pine,Maple, other ones as well
I would like to see a co-op farm and see its perpective from single player ones
Those are natural spawned ones
Yeah, if you have pine trees they will drop more pine seeds. If you want the other trees types to grow they have to start somewhere
Believe me, I have a lot of seeds -_-
Small but i like during the next spring ill work on it
So I'm playing with the SVE Immersion farm and holy crap... I have no idea what to do with all this damn room.
i made some fancy beehouse designs that took up around 120+ beehouses with all that space plus enough room for fish ponds
Anyone have a good place to browse pretty farms for Stardew Valley extended?
I want Inspiration (read: rip off creative types)
Hi does anyone know if I can build my coops and barns in the area where there’s hard wood that spawns every day? I’m on the forest farm
@gloomy pine
You can long as you clear the hardwood there.. but that's already been said. I did that in my forest farm. Put my barns and coops there.
The only pitfall is if you got a lot of pigs the alcoves can be overwhelmingly small for what you need. Keep that in mind.
And I think I read somewhere grass doesnt multiply on top of grass? So bare that in mind too.
Anyone have a good place to browse pretty farms for Stardew Valley extended?
@blissful fulcrum
Try the reddit! It should be in one of the pins either in here or #stardew-spoilers
You, too, can plant 2000+ crops at a time
.....time to get a tractor.
😮
Hello, what do you think about my farm ?
i like it!!!
Love the crop space!!
Cant wait to see it when its finished. :)
I feel as I'd your junimo hut should be integrated with your crops though instead of no mans land.
I have also decorate my cottage and the 3 little house in right of my farm, i can show you if you want
Wow, each of them has a really different feel 🙂
I am lookin for a good basic sprinkler set up
Made a makeshift shed greenhouse with every crop I’m allowed to put in garden pots.
i really like the layout. good job!
Damn nice! Do you have a catalog for all of that? Also can you upgrade other people’s houses for them?
Might go buy a catalog soon
Love it!!
any ideas on how to improve my design? I spent way too much time on this thing
anyone?
lol this is just the rendered plan
i'm in the process of making my farm turn into this
will do
Will you be keeping pigs in the barns?
Note that pigs can't find truffles on paved ground, and the space in the top corner there is pretty constrained already. So something to keep in mind when planning.
My thoughts exactly, if there will be pigs in any of the barns, you need to consider more unpaved space for that to work
Ok
the area below the silos with the tree could be used for something better
I also notice no desert totem
The silos are just a waste of space too
Do you really need 7 shipping bins?
https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/576130238979899433/734830721289551922/unknown.png is this a good setup?
need to unlock the best sprinklers still
Looking good for fall year 1
😺 thanks
Why in the world did you use corn tho?
Why so much of it?
because they cover 2 seasons and Im lazy lol
Corn barley even profit
yeah thats fine
Yea 😺
Im just casually playing through the game tbh
Not too bothered about optimization
Ah that explains the lack of sprinklers
nah thats because I dont have the best ones unlocked yet
and I dont wanna waste time making the worse ones lol
iridium is the plan
I ussaly expect 5+ iriduim sprinklers and 30+ quality sprinklers before the end of fall
I'm on year 3 (not year 1, like you thought) and still haven't gotten iridium sprinklers lol bc the way I have my farm planned out works well for me:
here's my little crop space!
🤡
It's so cute! Love the little orchard up top.
ty! if only all the trees would be prettier all the time :')
There are mods for that XD
haven't used any mods on this farm yet but it's tempting for the aesthetics 😂
I like the grape line too-it looks streamlined to just run all the way around that little box
I like the paths around the scarecrows. Very cute!
i've locked myself in a square of grapes too many times
Suggestion
Put a path under your sprinklers
They won't get dug up when your hoeing
oh yeah i should do that soon
How do i post my farm in here?
Or let me rephrase that, how do you get full image of ur farm layout?
Check pins
Find upload fsrm
Bottom right gonna consist of maple trees.
Im working on my next silo
because im tired of feeding pigs.
Top trees are cherry ones close to the house.
My goals are another silo, Mill, slime castle possbile make small lake somewhere to the left.
Yes i have a lot of gates
Since i don't know food recipes and been focusing on harvesting and production more then friendships
I dont know lot of food recipes.
...
That doesn't explain it
Maple syrup gives a lot of health.
Why do you have pine trees and maple trees on your farm
Still doesn't really give a reason
Pine trees i need them upper left for pine rasin for the wool spinner.
Why are they in your farm tho
But why are they on your farm
Ones on upper left i self planeted.
That's fair I guess
ID suggest moving them when you need the space
Ye
(Just a reminder that while it's okay to make friendly suggestions, everyone also needs to accept that people are not always going to share your personal priorities or preferences. One person may not know something yet, while another just likes the look of something or prefers something close to home.
Instead of repeating *why did you do x" over and over like they did something wrong, you could for example just ask "did you know that you can grow wild trees outside the farm?" the first time and go from there if they don't. Same kind of thing with crops or layouts that may not be "optimal".)
Alright... Sorry mouse
@flat flicker
If I can offer a suggestion I see that you've divided your crop space with a stone wall. However you're equally losing crop space with the spacing of your quality sprinklers. Come next season ir end of season may I suggest you re-evaluate your sprinkler tiling so you can reap the most benefit with your layout? The right side of your crop space is also a tile uneven as well as on the bottom with the other half. I felt the need to point that out because of my personal preference of symmetry. Not sure if jts intentional.
Make sure those cute little piggies have grass! Looks like everything is coming along nicely and I like the framing with the fencing too!
I'd like to also suggest a better place for your horse closer to your house. He is how you navigate quickly around stardew afterall and shouldn't be a hassle to get to!
Some prinklers were placed off pattern since some of the crops where not getting watered, but i will reevaluate the structure since earlier i came to a conculsion that walls are indeed taking up useable space. For the horse it was touch and go, i was thinking of moving it by the shed.
That would be a good spot for it, or even by the shipping bin!
If you're keeping your well in the crop field you could also put it in the center of your dividing fence if you keep it so both sides share the benefit of the water :)
I really love your fruit trees between the fencing. Do they still produce fruit? And did you have to wait for them to fully grow before doing that?
I planted them in summer which was a mistake, i should of planted them in spring so they took longer too grow, those specific fruit trees are cherry trees. They still produce fruit while acting like a natural barrier, I will take well idea into consideration. Yes i had to wait for them to grow fully, key is to place the seed in a pattern where the tree will act like wall.
It was sorta like experiment to see if animals will go through them or not, but to my surprise trees act like a natural wall for them.
Im guessing pigs need grass, ill note that down, reason for long replys is im using my left hand while my right has lotion on it.
N..no worries. Er.
Yeah al animals can use grass. Itll raise their happiness and can be used instead of hay?? Not required but can help.
Oh i thought grass made the pigs dig more truffles up.
Nope
Well, if they are allowed to eat grass it raises their hearts, and higher hearts means more truffles. But if their hearts are already at max grass won't make any difference
As for pigs actually finding truffles, they need natural flooring - grass or dirt or grassy dirt is equally fine, but no flooring or paths allowed on top.
Just hit year 4, trying to figure out what to do with the open spaces
Maybe u can fit a slime hutch in that top space 🤷♀️ if your interested in it
And for that space next to the greenhouse I would put maybe some fruit trees or some trees with tappers unless you have trees in the greenhouse already
@minor prairie I've been unsure about the slime hutch since I wasn't sure about if it would be that profitable but I'm so late into the game I'll consider it, thank you
I got all my fruit trees in the green house but would totally do some tappers
farm does need more foliage
Yea np :) glad I could help!
@upper kestrel I used the empty space next to the house for beehives since I had sheds next to the greenhouse
I agree that you can always use more trees, fruits for jellies and the rest for tappers
You don't need well if you already use iridium sprinklers 😁
Do you keep furnaces etc inside the shed?
@bitter sedge I did a whole bunch of bee hives up in the top left of my farm. Took an hour to figure out how to optimize the space for the beehives lol
I do keep furnaces inside but I think your suggestion to stick them outside is a better idea ty
Yeah, I saw your beehive plan. I couldn't go that far since I don't think I'll be able to build that many beehives lol
So I use larger area for trees, ponds, and animal area
I do enjoy having furnaces etc outside. Hope you'll like it too ^^
How do you reach the honey in the in-betweens?
don't know about vanilla, but could you use the automate mod?
Bruh and I thought I was doing well for the beginning of year 5. . .
@warm linden Does your planner support the Ultimate Farm mod?
No, I don't think it's available at the planner (yet)
are we talking about https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/6348 this?
Yeah
I wasn't sure because it seemed like there was more unofficial options -- but couldn't scroll down.
I'll ask Daisy, see if he could give me the layout image
That'd be awesome, thanks! My group has like 10-20 people playing -- so it can get disorganized if we don't plan it all out.
That mod looks amazing
It does ngl
Yeah, need a lot of space with 10+ ppl
The best think, imo, is the quick carts added to mushroom cave.
OoooOOoo
Travels to quarry, farm forest, and waterfall area.
Well, we had to do mods to play with 10+ ppl anyway.
the screenshot was a ingame feature lol
that size? lol I didnt know that
yeah you can take a picture of the entire area you're in
lol what keybind?
not sure ab its shortcut, but the option is in settings if you scroll to the bottom of one of the tabs
kk surprised I never noticed that
it came with the most recent update, iss pretty cool
yup I do remember once seing a mod which did that which is why I was confused I think
Nice! What's that at the bottom left part?
@warm stirrup hey, could you drop me the background image of your Ultimate Farm mod without the houses? I'll put it to the planner, people have been asking for it.
I decided to pick the 4 square farm, I regret it.
:o what mod do you use for your sprinklers? it looks so cute!! @hybrid comet
I have a empty space. its pretty big, I already have a lot of animals, a farm, any suggestions (i might add a slime thingy)
Mine lags cause I neglect my yard lol
You could expand your crop space, or add a couple fish ponds
god idea.
Maybe put a shed just to decorate? Once I made my own little museum in the farm
I need to clean mine up so i can add buildings and what not
You're welcome!
Then make a joja town
No we are good
my friend said bad bad
Nope we are good Pierre is bad
wdym
Nothing, nothing

||And i married the wizards daughter Abigail||
🤔
Well she lives with pierre as his fake daughter
i married her too i love her
Oh you can unlock the spirit house?
... what
ima put tappers there
I wouldn't recommend this in your farm, I'd recommend putting the trees off your farm, planting them, then tapping them, that way you can use the space in your farm
junimos!
They will harvest your crops for you
they're very expensive, but yes!!
@gloomy pine lol I'm surprised no one asked, I have my game modded with the "Automate" mod so it will go into the chest when it finishes. it's also convenient so I don't accidentally pick my flowers when I go to gather the honey 🐝
Makes sense
I figured as much so I didn't comment on it
@tall wigeon everyone plays at their own pace, don't be discouraged, I bet your farm looks amazing <3
I have a few mods installed. I have Ui Info Suite, Lookup Anything, Automate, and Skull Cavern Elevator.
I have those too, and a few other ones
@red obsidian ooo would you recommend any others?
Depends on what you'd like to edit in the game tho
I have a few recolors
And a massive addition to crops and processing machines
Hmm I personally like kind of ease-of-life type of mods, nothing too game breaking?
Then you might wanna try Joys of Efficiency
Looking at it right now, that auto animal door looks nice haha I gave up remembering to open my barns and coops so I just leave it open all the time now
Auto pets the animals, makes all flowers same color so u don't take a dozen inventory slots
The doors, I SO use the doors
auto petting omg
Yeah you walk by them and the animals get pet just by your presence
that sounds so nice, I think I'm going to try it lmao
do you have any other suggestions?
Tractor mod is just the best
It's so usefull
I'll get that one too, thank you

@tall wigeon everyone plays at their own pace, don't be discouraged, I bet your farm looks amazing <3
@upper kestrel okay! And I did the Riverland Farm so it’s harder for me I guess? But thanks!
@tall wigeon my very first farm was riverland! trying to figure out where to place buildings agitated me and I abandoned it :( props to you for sticking with it :)
It would be like this, (I don't know if I'm missing something).
It's ugly, I know, I'm not good with aesthetics, it's more than anything "Functional".
Sorry for my bad English 😅
If I can make a suggestion
If I can make a suggestion
@red obsidian No problem
I feel there are too many animal building for very little roaming space for them
Also, a shed gives a lot of space for a small footprint, I'd add 1 shed that uses only 3x7 and get all of the animal processing machines and seed makers, etc inside
You'll gain so much space
Also on the amount of animal building note, 3 silos for 72 animals is a bit of a stretch for winter
Also on the amount of animal building note, 3 silos for 72 animals is a bit of a stretch for winter
@red obsidian That's true
I understand, the chees press, mayo machine and other machines I have them outside because I use them very recurrently, and the loading time to enter the shed makes me a little desperate (It does not affect the time in the game, I know).
If you want to ever use that space then I suggest you have them inside the coops and barns. You can place thrm there and you have to enter amto collect them anyways
If you want to ever use that space then I suggest you have them inside the coops and barns. You can place thrm there and you have to enter amto collect them anyways
@red obsidian Had not thought of that, lmao
Thanks a lot <3
Welcome
@tall wigeon my very first farm was riverland! trying to figure out where to place buildings agitated me and I abandoned it 😦 props to you for sticking with it :)
@upper kestrel well, yeah. Though my farm isn’t too neat, it still works.
@undone lynx Id like to think you could still use left over room left bottom area for fruit trees that you enjoy.
I have them inside the greenhouse, I think I will use it for Tea Saplings.
Year 2 i maybe duped a little bit but i finished basicly the first year so i desided to goof arond a little bottom row is ancient seeds and the top 2 rows are cauliflower
Holy crap you must’ve gotten rlly lucky with your ancient seeds
Hellow I need a perfect layout for my grape stands to start a vineyard
Holy crap you must’ve gotten rlly lucky with your ancient seeds
@silk gorge he duped them lmao
Hellow I need a perfect layout for my grape stands to start a vineyard
@gloomy pine
You got several options. Best for vanilla is to plant two rows back to back and leave a space on either side. See text diagram below where 'X' are trellis in the form of rows.
X-XX-XX-XX-X
- are the tile space between. You can do this horizontally or vertically.
Your second option is to plant them however you want and then get the Walk through Trellis mod so the trellis wont block your pathing. /shrug
Henlo! I'm working on trying to plant a fruit tree orchard and I dont really know the best way to go about it as fruit trees are picky and I dont want to accidentally mess up and them not grow
Any suggestions on the best way to make one?
Henlo! I'm working on trying to plant a fruit tree orchard and I dont really know the best way to go about it as fruit trees are picky and I dont want to accidentally mess up and them not grow
@pale wren
Fruit trees require 8 tile spaces around it in order to grow. So with X being the fruit tree its this:
- x -
Now. You want to plant an orchard. This k about that as you plant the trees. No tree saplings. No tiles. No nothing can be in those 8 - slots around it or it will not grow. Cant be on a cliffside. Cant be against a wall [to my knowledge].
This is on the outside I'm guessing. Greenhouse is different. Refer to the wiki for layout there.
But you would plant a tree. Count two tiles, and on the 3rd tile over plant the next tree.
- x - - x - - x - - x - - x - - x -
Ignore text spacing. I tried to make it look clean.
Now after they are fully grown you can put fencing and tiles and whatever you want in between.
OOH OKAY thank you soooooo much! That makes way more sence I was trying to put 3 spaces in between trees 😅 oops lol.
Ope thanks again I was totally about to ask that Haha
Think of their spacing like that of a quality sprinkler which waters 8 tiles with the sprinkler st the center if it helps.
That actually helps alot, You are an angel
rather than going for efficiency, i decided to make a tiny town in the bottom! :D
Its adorable I luv it
thank you :>
I'm working on making a spooky theme farm rn :3
Work in progress. Second museum in a shes. Welcome decoration suggestions
Work in progress. Second museum in a shes. Welcome decoration suggestions
@pale steppe I think that symmetrical windows would look better
oo spooky theme! updates would be awesome :D @pale wren
ahh a home museum, i haven't even finished the first one ahaha
With all the space in sdv extended I wanted sheds to display every item in the game. I have my makeshift greenhouse, The museum above, and I’m gonna have a fish market and restaurants too.
The big shed is my favorite update so far
@spice leaf well I didn’t get my first ancient seed until year 3 yet he already got one on his 1/2nd year so that’s what I meant by that
Oh
Wait, since when can you donate iridium, copper gold etc?
What
@cosmic bridge How do you get those buildings?
rather than going for efficiency, i decided to make a tiny town in the bottom! :D
@cosmic bridge
What turns the wood path into white wood??? I need.
Same with your hardwood fences
@little sonnet as of now there is no such thing as white wood she is actually just using a mod
I know this.
it's this mod https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/2626
Thank you!
Yeah I’ve seen a lot of people use it and it’s rlly pretty
I'm not a fan of the white painted building myself, but to each their own
reminds me too much of plantation south
I like the white pathways and flower fences but that’s pretty much it
it's all together, but if you got some know how you can turn parts of it off. also it looks like kieva has a lot of art swap mods. I don't think the scarecrows or the unicorn are in Yellog's
If anyone knows where the flowers and scarecrow come from I would love to know
The owl scarecrows are the owl scarecrows mod on nexusmods.
The flowers are the flowers valley..grass? I'd have to find the specific name but its grass with flowers.
@pale steppe this is what i was looking for. not the white wood housing but the pathing. https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/4852?tab=images
yellog's stuff is beautiful
glad you found it.
@unique nova i used a mod called yellogs wood buildings iirc!
@little sonnet im using a path called seasonal floorings, and yellogs wood fences for the fences!
sorry for the late reply, I just woke up :p
i found the seasonal floorings on my own. <3
ooo nice!!
ty kieva!
no prob!
Winter, Year 7 (modded). Any suggestions?
More crop space! :D But thats just me.
^^
Yeah, maybe I should change some of those paths and buildings around.
That's adorable I actually love it
Thanks!
I'm not sure what all mods you have but maybe you can move the marketplace and picnic area to the center to serve as a little outlet and then build the animal area on one side and crop area on another. I'd also move your tractor and stable closer to your home for ease of use.
Think of like a Fair display is what it reminds me of. How they have the biggest crop contest [could try spawning giant crops] and then a farm animal petting zoo ordeal.
Just a thought.
You could arrange all the things on your farm master if they were on display or some carnival game. The lightning rods being ring toss, fish ponds being obviously what they are, so on and so forth
any suggestions? i'm on year 4 spring! (modded)
Pink?
the trees
any suggestions? i'm on year 4 spring! (modded)
Your farm looks great, I have alot of suggestions but no me would help you becuase you very clearly care about esthetics and my suggestions would just hurt that
the trees
Yes...
the trees are pink because i put tree fertilizer on them lmao
but any suggestions are fine with me :0
i wanna improve
I'd suggest more crops.
& More sheds
ty! i'll try to add more crops then :0 and maybe a shed
thanks for the suggestions :))
@obsidian plaza on the bottom left above the house I’d create a fenced in garden(using pots) with the tall grass surrounding it and a mini path leading to it
Wha-
@vague rose i think i get what you mean :0, you mean that empty space where the pet area is right?
it sounds like a cool idea tho, i'll try and do it :))
this is only a tiny section of my farm and pretty simple but tbh i absolutely love how it looks, especially in the rain...
@winged crescent I love that look
@obsidian plaza something like this
i usually add seasonal plant decors on the grass which is why theres a few grass inside
in fall it looks like theres tiny mushrooms growing on the grass if u use the boxed seasonal plant from the flower dance event
^is what i suggest
u can prolly do better tho it was rushed
It’s suppose to have more trees but it wouldn’t go over the wall so I used crystal flooring as a place holder
Love the idea
!ICantBelieveYouveDoneThis
I can't believe you've done this.
This channel is always quieter :)
It is, it's peaceful;
Kalm
anyone have any tips for interior?? I don't know how to fill up the empty space ToT
that's a very spacious home
not sure what kind of furniture you have, but maybe you can have rooms/areas with specific theme? like a tea room, wine room, a library, etc
Ooh, ill defo keep that in mind!
My brain can’t handle that, why do you have to walk over your bookcase to get to the kids room
Lol
It must be a secret bookcase door
it is~ :p
Hi!
Hi
Planned out my farm for a change!
Havent figured out what to do with the island on the right, and i kinda regret the fishing layout but its to go with the character i made
If you dont have an idea what to put there, maybe a slime hutch or mill
That would work, ill start thinking about it more when im closer to the late game
Never done the slime hutch on my previous saved actually, it would be neat to try it
spoiler regarding above: ||but doesnt the junimo hut have a range so it wouldn't be able to pick a lot of crops if it's isolated on the island?||
That's correct, there's a range for them
Yeah that was why I was t really considering them, but I should definitely make room for them somewhere
Ugh I screwed up my thing and I need to reset my entire game because I tried to turn mature events on but I messed with it and all my files are like, notes now and I saw the API say stuff was messed up and I swear to god if I lose my main profile-
Or, does anyone know what the original 3 files that were in the mods folder were?
Because I could fix it if I know that and then delete and redownload all the mods
No nevermind I screwed up the entire thing
Ugh I hate my life
My save file better still be there
Can you upload your SMAPI log to https://smapi.io/log (see instructions on that page) and share the link here?
#vanilla-tech-support will just send you back to #archived-modded-support
I just uninstalled and reinstalled the game
My friend helped me uncorrupt a save file before
So I'm just hoping I took the right save file
Wait it didn't clear my files
I need to reset my game files because I think I corrupted them all
I tried to do something and opened it in a notepad and then all the little icons turned into notepads
OH FUCK
I'M IN THE WRONG FCHANNEL
OH MY GOD IM SO SORRY
I'm so embarrassed right now
I'm so sorry
Lol it’s ok
shhhhh nobody tell the mods
lol
It's all good, I pinged them over to #archived-modded-support and we're slowly getting them sorted
easy to panic when you think you somehow broke everything
yeah
is this the channel for flexing farms
basically
flex
ookkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk
bring it backkkkkkkkkkkkk
u saw nothing 😉
Update on OmniFarm... Last day of Fall, Y3
Buildings are 100% in place & upgraded
Still need to fill them, and still need a ton of sprinklers (70+)
Y4 will be the year of fruit trees
I'm so proud of and happy for you Hakuna! I love the mushroom trees. 💙

Thanks Pixel, you're sweet
Mushrooms were a big bet, honesty
I wanted them there so I let pine trees grow wild there, and then just crossed my fingers all through fall
Little crop space,
The shed you show is very unoptimal
Isn't very pleasing to look at to me
Lots of extra fishpond
don't really need crops, done buying anything that needs lots of money, the shed is more of a showpiece for minerals
prob gonna get rid of a fish pond or two, good idea
You always need more money
I like your room of evil XD
Aside from "brr number go up", what would I possibly spend money on haha? stone for a 1000 staircase skull cavern run?
have all the wizard buildings, all achi, every villager at max friendship, etc
Your farm is gorgeously designed. If you're looking to breathe new life into the game, I'd start a new save and mod the crazy out of it. But I'm pretty bad at late game design stuff...
I play on switch 😦 don't think I can get mods
Thank you though! Mostly making things look as nice as I can at this point. New save files are fun but making everything look nice is fun too
The aesthetic in your home is just perfect for Leah. Plants and muted art everywhere XD Love it
That's beautiful
I like your house interior and shed a lot! I'm also a more crop person, but I understand it's up to you
What farm layout is that?
fishing
@gloomy pine I love the shed layout! It's so pretty
What's with your evil lair in the bedroom? 🤣
I used to have a bunch of it like trophies in the top left room, but didn't know what to do with bedroom. Saw somebody with a cool library in their bedroom so I made an evil library in mine
Thanks guys! I don't actually fish that much either but I like the water and the challenge of a weird layout
It's Winter and I want to start redesigning my farm... but the thing is I don't know where to start and I'm overwhelmed with the space that I have
any tips?
make a farmplan on the planner
whats the planner?
Plan your Stardew Valley farm! ...on a coffee break!
@gloomy pine what do you want to have on the farm the most right now?
I just want it to look pretty and organized ;-; the planner overwhelms me as well
I think I can understand, it's overwhelming if you're not sure where to start
I'd suggest to just randomly try putting things, ideas will probably flow later
maybe group some things together
or symmetrical patterns for example
you can also see the farms people post here and take some ideas from there xD
How many furnaces should I have in my work area?
Atleast 100
That is quite a lot
I thought I was under estimating it
Really? That seems like it is overkill
Not to me
:P
@gloomy pine sorry for the delay hehe.. If you're on standard or 4 corners, I can share the farms I've made in case that would help
Oh!
Like mine!
btw how's your going Cake?
I'm very unmotivated
On my year 17 file I've done everything
Starting new save files doesn't do anything
Playing the other saves I have doesn't ethier
Mods don't do anything
I'm gonna be playing less
but I'll get it done
Oh, it happens
@gloomy pine sorry for the delay hehe.. If you're on standard or 4 corners, I can share the farms I've made in case that would help
@red obsidian yes please! Im playing the standard
Your in good hand Paula
Great, here's some of my own farms, the ones I like the most
Hakunamata is great at this
Hopefully you like them and can get inspiration from them (copying is also fine with me
)
all lovely designs!! @red obsidian
I like the second one most, being a fan of symmetrical designs lol. I may steal your idea someday :3
😻😻😻
I think I’ll draw inspiration from the 2nd one. It’s a bit similar to what my farm looks like atm
Thank you
HM is great
Oh wow @red obsidian those are some really great farms and gives me an idea of what to do. Thanks for the inspiration!

This is the building recolor mod:
Together with eemie's map recolor
And this craftables recolor, which I edited myself because it's before 1.4 and deluxe scarecrow did not show (can share if you´d like)
Thx

wow, i like the first one hakuna, i may take inspiration ||or maybe try and consider to copy a little bit especially where you placed the barn and coop||
What is the website to design your farm?
it's in the pinned comments shane
||H||||I||
@red obsidian I really love ur farm designs!!!
could i trouble you to share some inspiration for a 4 corners farm? :>
Probably I don't like 100% of the corners in each, but would mix them up
Here go
I also designed 3 of the corners for Cake, but never built it myself: https://stardew.info/planner/12-clear-hares-ran-merrily/
Plan your Stardew Valley farm! ...on a coffee break!
what the fuck i's so pretty
oh WOW these are so nice holy shit
i need a few minutes to rly study them LMAO
right now i'm just in y1summer in my current save and just sloooowly chipping away but got lots of content modded in as well :0
i kind of have an idea in my mind of how i wanna design it but actually implementing design has been a lot of trial and error
How much time do you spend on the planner to come up with these gorgeous designs lol
Lol, they do take a couple of hours each, for sure
looking at recent designs makes me want to rearrange my farm, but I've just replanted the trees and ran out of tree fertilizers
Maybe there's a way to redesign around them
Lmao, old houses are like that, never enough outlets
Maybe there's a way to redesign around them
@red obsidian thinking about it ^^
You can do it!
Still working on the left side, specifically around the mushrooms and the houses... want to make that area feel like a mini town of some sort. Any thoughts or suggestions welcome ❤️
If you need help I'll be here tomorrow, I'm heading to bed now, but I can help you if you want/need
I love that Shen!
Fall is such a pretty season in sdv
ah! so neat and pretty!
You made the standar map look so much wider
My only 2 comments would be that it may be a bit to tight for the animals and that you may be short with only 2 sheds for 24 sprinklers, but aesthetics wise, I like it a lot
Too tight for the coop and barn? Mmmm, I'm not too concerned about them anymore... I only have them for completionist sake. Otherwise I can navigate with the horse fine
Fair enough
my farm looks so pretty in fall, and then it looks shit in winter, i hate winter so much in this game lol
lol the upload misplaced the bins and forgot my signs
anyway this is my latest plan
got rid of fences in the middle area to get more space, but then I have no idea how to use the extra space lol so I put em back in
holy cow that looks really nice
makes me regret doing the riverside farm
Anyone has any riverside farm designs?
Riverland* is the worse of all the farms by far
Someone probably does tho
@red obsidian
Hbu?
Riverland* is the worse of all the farms by far
@broken folio I have concluded looking at these..
Well, if I use an editor and change it, will it have consequences?
hmmm
the village stays the same for all farms yes?
cuz i have a shit ton of progress
the village stays the same for all farms yes?
@half wadi yeah
Riverside does look very small
I wanted to try four corners but too lazy to replay the game
redid this so many times cuz always unsatisfied lol, but its fun rearranging/redecorating
Looks so good!!! And Also I'm the same, I think I've redone my farm like 4 times haha
I would change a few thing
thank you 😄 recommendations would be nice
I would get rid of all of the trees in the bottom left and top right for sheds and other such things
That's about it
hmm yeah out of resources at the moment but im planning to add another shed
hence the half chopped down trees on the bottom left lol
and ive no idea where to put the 2nd silo
Bellow the silo you have
^
I would get rid of the paths in the pet area so they have more grass
My farm is really bad compared to everyone else's hahaha
But does anyone have any suggestions?
Sorry, no Riverland designs, haven't run a farm in that map
It's just so bad
YZGamer, can you share in daytime? Can't pretty much see anything
Question on the barn and coop corner
yeah?
Fence has that shape cause your planning on putting something else there?
oh lol i plant grass starters there once stuff starts growing
That fence looks odd to me, unless you have something in mind for the areas outside the fence
hmm
There's a ton of space outside of it
i still want to separate the animals from the grass somehow
the wood path looks nice around the scarecrows! i should try that myself
I do appreciate the vast crop space
Maybe you can fit a few more in front of the sheds (left to the horse)
it's shared with 1 other person so one of us usually stays on the farm while the other goes off to do other stuff. i'm worried about ||jumino hut|| placement once i get to that though
oh yeah that sounds good
And bottom right corner, is that trees for tappers you're growing?
For the building placement, you'd probably need 2
in each corner, aproximqtely
ah ok
If you wish to use that space for something different, you can tapper trees around town
i'm just not sure what else i could put there
not really into the ||slime hutch|| thing though
I like the placement of the 4 ponds
Maybe some bee houses above the trees and some tea bushes?
i forgot about tea yeah that makes sense
if i were to make the coop/barn fence smaller, what should i put around it?
i doubt i can handle more crops, harvesting already takes the full day
Fruit trees? Some type of woodsy area or decorations?
For barn + coop maybe add a 2nd silo to the one you have already. Winter is long for 24 animals (if both buildings fool)
I think my suggestions are more practical than anything else, hope they help
i'm into practical lol, thanks for your help! i'll mess around on the planner with fruit trees, thanks again
Absolutely, you're welcome! I love the farm designing part of this game
on year 2 rn, i dont particularly care for efficiency but i do try when it looks nice
should i forgo the paths on the animal island ? pigs cant find truffles on paths can they
Yeah they can't
No, but they might be helpful to you for walking around if the whole island's covered with grass for the animals to eat
yes thats what i was going for plus i think it would look nice with the grass :)
what should i make the south island be for
i dont have any ideas right now
heres my farm
how do you guys like it?
if anyone has any thing else to comment let me know ok
i've also added grass now to the left
Just make the entire field crops
new here so i thought id show my oldest farm :3 i wanna do smth different with the right island but idk what eek
Does someone have a good forest farm that has everything
yeah forest farm layouts? 🥺
If you put this in the search bar you can scan through what other people have shared before:
forest in:#farms-and-outfits has:image
anyone there has a good greenhouse design to increase its capacity with pots?
I don’t but my guess would be to just line the entire outer edge with pots
This was my idea for a forest farm I had initially, to the one who was asking.
anyone there has a good greenhouse design to increase its capacity with pots?
@scarlet ember the wiki page has a design that maximises tree placement
edit: nevermind. you were asking about pots. i misread.
aww i love those mushrooms
thats amazing
My advise would be to reduce animal buildings, there may be too many for the amount of space for them to roam around
ok thank you
Also note that at the very top right where you have the corner of crystalariums, there are some bushes that the planner does not show
Besides that, I'm always a fan of large crop fields
thanks. im going to make a revised version with this in mind
i gtg but here is v2 if anyone cares
already shared this in seasoned farmers, but here's my farm! e
i would show a ss of my farm but it's winter and it looks bad without grass... i wished i finished it in fall
i just hate winter
i'll probably resend mine when it's spring bc winter can be bleh
but that's what it looks like rn lol
winter is very bleh
but i'll send a ss anyway, in like 10 mins
btw i love the look of your farm but i really dislike the basic wooden paths
idk why
i love the weatherd floor
the ones in the field or the other ones?
the other ones
if i end up waking up one morning like "ah yes, ping pong time to uproot flooring"
i did that and i had like 800 old floors that idk what to do with
but i've broken and replaced many paths today and i do not feel like it
let me get on and send a ss, 5 mins...
i dont like the way it looks without grass
but there
looks very empty in winter
crop space -100
year 4 winter btw, im focusing on 100% completing the game instead of just money, im almost done fishing, museum, full shipment, and almost 10 hearts with everyone
ty @fair mirage
tomorrow I'm finally going to get the greenhouse
wut
i keep all my chests outside
oh
cos i like to keep things
i have my chests outside and thats it, my sheds are empty atm
i dont like the way it looks without grass
@torn pebble that is very pretty i love it
eh itll look shit when spring comes anyway
i should probably move the sprinklers around
or get iridium sprinklers
I may finally remodel my farm when I get to 100,000 gold
ill send a ss as soon as i get into spring, and then you can see what my farm looks like
i need like 1.1 mil more atm, i need to buy the house for pam and i want that statue of endless fortune
im on 400k
you marry pam and live happily ever after (with mods, haha)
ewww pam
if i didnt buy 12 pigs, a second barn and coop, a shit load of hay, like 40 fruit trees, and some more wood (because there is none and im mad) i would be at like 2 mil rn
oh yeah should I get a second barn?
i have 4.9 mil oof
the truffle machine
which is useless rn...
i am
ill be planting all my ancient seeds in my greenhouse
how do pigs get truffles?
turn ancient fruit into wine = profit
age wine (not required) = profit
get the 50% money on artisan goods = big profit
i'm confused as to where to put my sheds though
maybe here?
good night
gn
gn
X
i would do with a bit more land but it does look nice
i think what really pisses me off about river farm is that it's supposed to be more focused on fishing than farming but there's not a lot of deepwater fishing spots AND theres more chance of getting trash
added on the fact that there's not much land too, with the land you do have having weird shapes so you cant really be efficient with your sprinkler placements
i wish it was more of a lake than whateever this island layout is
or an actual river
ya thats the word
;)
I am still playing the farm that I very first started with and knowing very little about the game, I chose river farm, I really regret it.
@fair mirage your farm looks really good. Great inspiration on how to improve mine
thank you! I'd argue that the island where your house is is where you should put your animals though
since there are a ton of untillable tiles there
however i chose this design cos it looked nicer
pembis
Farm design on my second year, spring
the second version of a farm I made
that’s a very random placement of sprinklers there… is there a reason behind it?
^
And wastes more spacr
It looks like a spiral pattern to get better coverage around the huts
sophisticated being
But yeah it ends up needing more around the edges, so I don't think in this case it results in fewer sprinklers needed
But I'm not sure, cause they're maxing out their Junimo range too; I don't know how many iridium sprinklers would be needed for a more traditional layout of that size
Most people just do 8 sprinklers around the hut and call it finished
lots of refined quartz thats for sure
Just asking
If you see my farm there
My center part is empty, should it left that way or add something
If add something, what should I put?
bruh more sprinklers
It's a center piece
The image I posted above the recent one
yeah
Part near the junimo hut is kinda wasted
@late shore I wanted to
But it would lead to some not syncing harvest
True
But I don't want to
oh well
It's just me really
It's so not satisfying when your entire crop doesn't harvest at the same time
awesome i'll do that maybe
thanks guys
and aww awesome designs
@strong willow ikr re crops harvesting
Suggestions on this design plan I made? I'm still new to the game and don't know what is best, I want my farm to look nice, but also produce a decent amount of money.
that's super pretty! did you make sure you have room to get into those back two sheds in the cluster of four?
I really like what you've got going with the bee houses
I started a new account. Do you have a good forest farm design?
people sometimes say you don't need non-fruit trees on your farm, strictly speaking, but I prefer to have my tapping trees close to home. if you want to have fruit trees you could swap out some of the regular trees
If you put this in the search bar you can scan through what other people have shared before:
forest in:#farms-and-outfits has:image
I like orchards! they're pretty and fruit is nice.
my only forest farm so far is my very first save, which is a bit messy
sorry
my first ta is very messy and in year 3, anyway, there is only one small plant is the greenhouse, and I was shit to accept the joja
I hear the Joja town upgrades are easier than the community center ones if you really dedicate to making money, but lore-wise I like the CC much better 🙂
Ancient Fruit is a good one for your greenhouse
hmmm, it's a good idea to start from scratch.
the right way
do you want to play #multiplayer-lfg-old
?
that might be fun! let me check over my mods real quick though. I have a whole bunch and some probably shouldn't be enabled for multiplayer
OK 🙂
Can you only do those entire farm screenshots on PC
It's possible on every platform except Xbox and PS Vita. You can check the pins for a guide :)
Does anyone have a good layout for the waterside farm? I'm not sure what the farm type is called but all I know is that it is a bunch of islands. I'm still super new to the game and don't want to have to redo my farm once I've started.
that's riverside, I think! but I don't have one offhand. you could try searching the channel
Thank you!
@bitter sedge do you mind if i use yours
i'll obviously alter it to my liking but its a very good start
Nobody really cares if you snipe their farm ideas
Unless you like... copy someone's farm layout completely and then post yours and say you designed it all yourself
(then you'd be an ass)
How do I screenshot my entire farm on mobile?
upload.farm
or
if on Android, get mods and grab the Daily Screenshot mod for an actual screenshot instead of re-creation
Ah alright
