So, the compat should work, theoretically, the reason being is stardew doesn't like your gpu or gpu drives

You can try updating your gpu drivers, or use the legacy mode provided above, which is basically the 1.5.4 32bit (which your pc likes) but set on 1.5.6

It's honestly why it still exists because it's impossible to narrow down any cause, so 2 exactly similar systems one could work, one could have problems

I also know that sometimes my friend would spike at the same time as me, but also sometimes alone

So I can't find my file in my loading screen, but it's still in my save files and its not lost, because It doesn't show a blank note pad and it does end with </savegame> . Hello, I have successfully transferred a save from one PC to another but am experiencing a glitch. When I open this save my character just keeps switching between items in her toolbar is if I was continuously spinning the scroll wheel on my mouse. The scrolling is to the right side and if I enable the "invert scroll" option in the options menu it goes to the left instead. I notice no other glitches.

So, for the past while, Stardew has been very laggy. I can't even open a game, whether it be new, or a existing file. It also randomly freezes when I do something as simple as _clicking a button. _

I don't think this is anything as simple as my PC lagging, since this has never happened before, and all of my other games are fine, plus this was very random and not after anything that could've caused it. Does anyone know what's happening or how to fix it?

Hey so I just wanted to ask what could be the issue for terrible lag on someone who's playing with me; I'm hosting.

We both have good download and upload
I am U.S West, while he's east. Although last time we played together (Stardew 1.4.X iirc) we played even with another one, with little to no noticeable lag. Even added the Stardew Expanded mod and there was no lag for anyone

ive spoke here before and someone gave me advise and it never worked so i stopped playimg for 1 or 2 months hopping for another hotfix but i loaded it up again and its still completely broken, i tried backing saves up and uninstalling stardew again but did nothing. the game will work fine for 3-5 minutes but then instantly breaks to where i cant do anything and somtimes crashed and its hard to even close the game. its like increddibly bad lag spikes or somthing and it doesnt go away. anyome else have this problem?

Has anyone found a workaround to the intermittent disconnecting occurring in cooperative mode? Pretty much everyone gets a "connection failed" error and drops connection from me at least once every in game day. It has been happening since the last patch, and I've followed the troubleshooting guides and they are not working. It seems like it may be something with the patch.

Connection Failed

I have been playing the game with my girlfriend and it was working perfectly until about 2 days ago where now almost every time it says connection failed when trying to join the farm and the few times I have managed to get in I usually end up losing connection after about 1 in-game day. Today I tried for 50 minutes to get in and was unable to. Here is a full list of the fixes that I have tried multiple times. 1: Restarting the Game 2: Launching the game from Steam. 3: Reinstalling the game files. 4: Restarting my WIFI router as well as reconnecting the connection to my PC. WIFI doesn’t seem to be the issue because I can still stream 1080p video without buffering. 5: Using the invite code instead of clicking the farm from the list on co-op 6: Uninstalling and Reinstalling Visual Studio 2013 7: Both reallowing Stardew Valley and disabling my fire wall, antivirus, and VPN. 8: Restarting my PC.

I don’t know what to do anymore and this really sucks as we are long distance and playing games together is one of the main ways we have fun and stay in touch. What else can we do? We have also done these fixes on her PC as well but it hasn’t worked. I am able to see her farm pop-up when she reloads it in the co-op menu.
