Juice takes 4 days to make, pickles take 2-3 days. Pumpkin juice base price is 720, while pickles go for 690. Sounds better to make juice, right?
But every 12 days you make juice, you are getting 3 batches for a total of 2160, while in the same 12 days you can make four or five batches of pickles for 2760 or 3450.
Add to this fact that all veggies except pumpkins and red cabbage are actually worth less as juice than pickles, and this is why I say you should never make juice.

assuming Yr2 prices, where coal is valued at 250 gold, the break even point of the sold smoked fish would have to be equal to that, 250. fish smoker doubles the sell value of a fish, which means that the break even point, without artisan, would be 125, because 125×2=250. with artisan, it would be even lower. so how is 225 the "break even" point? should a fish be 225, then its sell value without artisan would be 450, which is a 200g PROFIT. with artisan, well it would be higher obviously. only reason I'm not calculating with artisan is cause % hurts my brain

Dehydrators are for high-volume, low-value crops like blueberries, cranberries, pre-Botanist blackberries, mushrooms and even tree fruits.

High-value fruits are best made into wine, mid ones into jellies

Also, with dehydrators, if you don't have Artisan, only dehydrate up to silver quality. Once you have Artisan, you can dehydrate up to gold and still make more money. Iridium quality should be sold as is, since you'll lose money dehydrating it.
