Basically when the prismatic jelly quest shows up, you can check the slime floor spawns for that week, looking for one just below an elevator

So if I got a sword with slime gatherer innate and forged it with a dragon tooth would it replace the slime gatherer innate or give me a new one on top of it

You get a different innate if you forge another dragontooth onto that weapon

Forging dragontooth is random. For primary innates they cannot be the same back to back and the next one would always be different

But for slime gatherer since it's a secondary innate it can appear back to back but the chances for secondary innates to occur do not happen all the time

Secondary innates are slime gatherer, weight and defence (for weapons level 10 or lower) right?

Slime gatherer and weight can appear at any level below 15 for defense it's level 10 and below

So what sets them apart from the dragontooth forged ones

They just have a chance to appear and will appear alongside with primary innates

Primary innates are guaranteed while secondaries have a chance to appear and will not always appear. When you forge dragontooth to a weapon it will always roll a primary inmate with a chance for a secondary innate

if i recall correctly, the amount of xp you get from harvesting with scythe now has been reduced for a percent amount. when it was 1.6, it gives the original xp. so by that you gain level faster

Do the Bobbers of the same type on an Advanced Iridium Rod stacks?

Double dressed spinner means nigh-instant hooks
Double quality means silver can become iridium

Double Sonar is no different from single Sonar
Double Treasure Hunter technically stacks but Treasure Hunter's effect is so small that it still sucks

I think I have come up with a way to make it possible to have 999 iridium quality of each legendary fish. Now it should take at least 333 in game years solo to do so by yourself.

Step one. Start a new farm. Do what is needed to get an advanced rod and challenge bait.

Step 2 catch it with your main farmer.

Step 3 get a lot of copper bars and wood. Crab pots will help save a lot of time. Place 500 of them down. Or buy that many either way works buying would be faster though.

Step 4. Build a cabin. Create a farmland. Use the crampons daily to level up fishing. Will need a lot of bait for this. Should take between 6 to 8 days. To reach level ten fishing. Now go catch the legendary fish.

Step 5 destroy the cabin and rebuild it.

Step 6 repeat step 4 and 5 till you have 999 of each legendary. 333 years is the bare minimum. But would most likely take way longer.

This time could be caught down by quite a bit if you have a friend willing to help you.

Potentially place 1000 crab pots instead. Each one gathers from 500 for 2 players. There are only so many we can fit on the map in total. And humans aren't perfect so we wouldn't be getting the max of like 2237 with a standard farm. River map might be the best choice to add more crab pots. Hopefully to a number that diveds by 7 nicely.

As in 1.6 you can 7 farmlands. You can't delete the first farmer so he has to stay. Meaning if you want everyone to gather 250 crab pots you need 1750 crab pots. Which would take 12 days to max fishing like this.

But again humans aren't perfect so it may be better to just place 150 for each farmer which would only be 1050 crab pots. Which would take 20 days to max fishing. I think if we go any lower it will take to long.

But with challenge bait and 7 people fishing that is 21 of each legendary fish every in game year. Which if done perfectly would only take 48 in game years this doesn't include the time Robin would take to build 7 cabins of about 21 days. So just keep that in rotation. So 48 to 49 years minimum.

You would think because we can fit like 2000 we can go to 4 players comfortably at 500 crab pots a piece. But we can't. As humans are perfect machines even 1500 would be difficult to coordinate. But possible
So 3 players would be about 12 in game years.

If we want to do seven players 250 crab puts would take 12 days giving us only 2 cycles. Even at 300 a piece it is ten days. Which is 2100 total that you all would have to coordinate perfectly and reaching the max number of crab pots possible.

But each person catches 12 of each fish each year. Which would be 84 a year. Still about 12 years. Well this is 11.8.

While 3 players is 11.1 years.

So it seems like 3 would be the most comfortable and quickest.

We could do 4 if everyone is perfect everyday. Which would only take 8.325 years in game. But perfect play everyday isn't reasonable.

So I don't understand why it was changed with 1.6 but planting seeds sucks now.

For those who don't know (PC); Pre 1.6 you could plant seeds by holding down the right mouse button anywhere out of reach of your character. This would automatically place the seed below your feet (and very quickly). Meaning you could just run around to plant them with very good control.

Now in 1.6, doing this places a seed in front of you, reducing the control you have for planting seeds, especially around sprinklers.

The dehydrator's bottleneck is Fire Quartz, which can be easily duplicated in a Crystalarium. And since Dehydrators can process 5 items overnight (vs a jar processing 1 item across 2-3 days), they can handle 10-15× as many items as jars-- or the same number of items with 1/10th to 1/15th as many machines.

for not so much.. my suggestion is to just save it and trade it when youre in bookseller

Cc is recommended for new joiners! But you basically collect a bunch of things throughout the year and learn how to make certain things, almost like a tutorial of everything

Joja is more money based and you don't have to collect things to complete it. However, as said, it's always best to do cc as a first playthrough!
