Unlocked Qi's walnut room yesterday, Danger in the Deep was on the first quest. Problem is, yesterday was Saturday so I only had two days (rather, a day and a half) to clear it.
Today is Sunday and I need to sprint from B25F all the way to B120F in one day. I used up all my staircases oon Friday so I can only get 16 from the trader plus whatever I'm willing to buy from Robin

The early floors have shit tons of stone so I can accumulate some extra stairs worth as I bomb my way past. The mid floors have that forest aesthetic so they don't have a lot of stone, and that's a problem.
So I wanna know if the deep floors have a lot of stone again

And yeah, you can treat (treet?) your trees with vinegar now to block moss growth. Don't know if it stops the green rain morph tho

Get grapes via Summer Seeds and they will be Iridium quality, thereby giving you a fourth inventory slot clogged with grapes

Do you know this one downside of weapons with the Crusader enchantment? They cannot destroy Mummies that are already immobilized to piles of bandages at 0 health -- still need bombs to defeat those... unless this was patched in version 1.6+.

Unless it was patched, then I think that it's like this so that the farmer couldn't just take a non-Crusader weapon to reduce the mummies to bandage piles and then just simply finish them off with a weak Crusader weapon in lieu of using bombs.

If it's a new farm I would simply go fishing on the bad days and progress in the mines on the good days. Later on luck becomes less important (special charm increasing it and staircases from the desert trader solve the "no ladder"-problem).

Sounds like your first time with the quest? Once you finish you get a permanent switch on lvl120, where you can toggle dangerous whenever you please for farming (applies overnight, lift keeps working) Sorry if I misread and you already knew this

The trick is that the quest allows for double-stacked difficulty which apparently increases radioactive ore rates

I don't know the details but it's tied to already having the B120F shrine active and then accepting the quest

So yeah it's not a bad plan to stop at 115 next time you have the quest and then spam the first floor until the last day, at which point you just jaunt from 115 to 120 and finish it for the gems

you may find the statue from the "miner" useful, it gives good effects.
"farming" is also a good option if you have a lot of farm animals in order to be able to double the profit from them. the best way to farm crackers is by fishing, catching treasures. so it may be useful to take a "fishing" afterwards to catch them more efficiently with an improved fishing rod.

Objective: Skull Cavern Invasion without any prepared stairs; due to a multi-layered convergence of Bullshit, I am completely out of stone and jades.
My gear and supply situations are also uncomfortably mid (unmodified Galaxy Sword and Dwarf Hammer, unmerged rings, only one MRC that I'd rather save for desert fest next week)
My options look like...

1. go today despite the bad luck and hope the Statue of Blessings' +1 Luck counters it
2. go tomorrow with speed and ladder blessings, and hope the daily luck is better
3. use a rain totem on the day of egg fest so that it's raining on Sunday the 14th, allowing me to try using Fangs... and hope my luck is good. I can also trade in 10-20 jades on this day.
   Rather not let this pass by, so I can unlock the Dangerous Mode toggle.
