Today's mesa was def tough. I found a lot of success by climbing up the right-most side (i was near the boundary fog a lot), and that was with a heavy bing bong

So if you're just looking for a normal climb, you can probably do the same more easily than me

The tomb and the idol will always spawn when it's a Mesa day. The 25% chance thing is supposed to be whether or not the tomb is blocked off so you can actually get in the intended way.
You are always able to break into the tomb if you're determined enough using a backpack.

Its been 18 hours without Alpine, I can’t stop shaking and I’m having severe withdrawls. I woke up today trying to get to alpines but it was mesa instead, I had a major panic attack but managed to calm down after a few hours.
