Then caught the Vandal lackin trying to ring around the rosie me crouched.

i've done very similar things to this as a solo triage, the invis can be useful but i've caught many assassins trying to run away or flank because they're not truly invisible and you can hear movement. smokes can be good for res'ing but eh. not as useful as not getting downed in the first place if your tm8 can help knock the enemies first

hmm. you're probably not familiar with how the recoil works. it goes up a bit, then stops and becomes a sort of physical bloom cone (which is their attempt to balance spraying). it's not the most challenging recoil for sure, but it's definitely noticable especially in good gunfights. some guns are ass and some are more beamy tho. as for sounds it seems great to me generally. if you did want to try picking it up again just for the hell of it i'd be down to queue with you

I liked the Server Slam and the game over all! But I think TTK should be higher so you are able to adapt to certain situations, especially when you get jumped by an invis assassin or get ratted on. This game wants a heavy PvP focus and the sandbox is awesome, but sometimes it feels like you don’t have enough time to respond once a gunfight starts. Awareness is a big factor, but if you're already fighting a team and get third-partied, you can’t properly outplay people because you get knocked immediately.
It’s a high-risk, high-reward game, but I want my PvP engagements to last longer and offer more options. I also don’t think a sniper should be able to one-shot someone. In my opinion, the game would feel more fluid with a slightly higher TTK and less burst damage, giving players more room for movement. PvP encounters would become more about micro-management, movement, and outplays rather than just stealth and positioning.
That’s just my opinion — but give it a little more Apex and it’s my game of the year for sure.

i found there to be absolutely no reason whatsoever to care about literally anything but the loot. and even then. the loot is mid. if the gameplay was more diverse then sure. but all people do is sniff walls and pop out and shoot when they have the drop on someone. the social side of things is the only reason the game has a playerbase imo. well, the big robots look cool and theyre cool to fight, but thats it

their way of storytelling is super baity and they're trying to do some Souls-like storytelling + building a "living story" but there's not enough backdrops imho, Marathon has a lot more going because of the history behind the IP and because of how much Bungie is invested in telling a story

yeah for sure i think arc's gameplay is fine but if had more global efforts (like helldivers maybe?) or even just factions akin to how this game is doing it it'd be a lot more involved. right now arc's gameplay is just whos inventory is worth the most and the variety of good loot and weaponry etc. is extremely minimal for a game thats intended to be treated as a live service
