if you are getting rushed by a 3 man theres two things going on

1. You cant do anything. Knife or not, 3 v1 close range you will lose. Even if they have pistols, you'll lose.

2. You are separated from your team by so much that all 3 enemies are confident to rush you without your team punishing them. Play closer to your team, and even if you do get rushed your team will punish and likely win the fight.

usually when I play close to the randoms, we all just die at the same time because they're too fucking loud. I try to keep a bit of space between myself and my team (30-40m). And more often than not Im able to 1v2 or 1v3 the remaining after they die

Assets change their values all the time depending on performance. It's not a great sign, but Sony is adjusting their expectations on returns, and they are a notorious company for setting HUGE targets for their expecations at that. Very different from 'losing money'.

In 2 years time it could be that some project Bungie has their hands in raises those expectations, and so Sony will adjust their numbers to match that. And if it doesn't meet that number, adjust again, etc. happens allll the time

I tested it out running basically every combination of settings I could think of and found that the game basically refuses to scale past 4 cores/threads (2 cores 4 threads is unplayable) and the visual settings effectively don't matter, so even if you have plenty of CPU overhead the game just doesn't use it

The group I ended up with was one real good vandal and someone who was grinding in preparation for ranked Cryo. All I could do was try to keep up.

And yeah, for Cryo map knowledge is king, everything adds up. Knowing revival has an guaranteed security computer in the lv2 exit towards control, that steerage always has a filled cryo bag, etc.

How it ended... I don't know. All I know is we were moving over some bags, I see they're trap bags, I start to call out and they explode. Zero clue what set them off. My only guess is they got shot from somewhere.

I don't have the reflexes for close up stuff, nor the aim for sniping, but mid-range stuff that's about positioning and pressure, I can do that.

Buy a green m77, blue reloader mag, swarm directive if u have it unlocked, and a white wstr. Move the green stack overflow from the m77 to the wstr and put swarm/reloader mag on the m77. Alternatively, you can just bring in the m77 and search gun lockers and strongboxes in the clearance 2/3/4 rooms for a mis or other gun. If you can’t buy shields, go to preservation immediately for the clearance 2 blue/purple shield room. If you can’t buy backpacks, go to revival for the blue/purple backpack room. Loot resupply rooms for consumables/meds and grenades. Thief is good for visor to find boxes to loot

M77 good because you can engage any range with it. Wstr is usable with stack overflow, and actually not a terrible option if u have carnage cartridge legs (4 in the mag). A stack overflow wstr will beat a knife if u dont miss, but it will lose 10/10 times against a mis.

But if you’re playing super close with the m77 and you aren’t teamshotting, it isn’t fantastic. Bully is obviously good, but I hate using it without at least a blue drum and a far reach/precision barrel

In the panopticon, on the ground floor level (1 above the lower levels) there are desks with monitors and keycards on them. Looking around this area is risky, Thief drones are great for souting the area safely, finding keycards and picking them up to safely take back to team. If no one is Thief, you will have to venture yourself.

Rather, how do you obtain those, and or can you craft them in some way? Or does every gun just have all rarities with better stats?

rarities are completley determined by your attachments

Surpisingly the rarity doesn't matter too much. The rarity of the gun is determined by the average rarity of all of the mods attached. If you remove the mods, the gun rarity drops until it is grey.

Tip: You can remove good mods from a gun and only exfil with them instead of an 8 slot gun to save backpack space. You can do the same thing to save vault space.

Cryo is pretty cool but I think that a lot of players fail to appreciate that it’s designed like a Raid but with a much shorter time limit.

Old Destiny raids were meant to eat up hours and hours of your time.

My only real complaint with Cryo is that it’s timegated and should be something that we can attempt whenever. I don’t have as much time on weekends as I do during the weekdays after work

Best to try default sens and 800dpi for a bit. I’m coming from valorant and apex but generally prefer a relatively lower sens in marathon. Maintain the 1:1 ADS for muscle memory
