ok so if youve played destiny you know Patrol is the WORST "game mode".
Strikes however- activities that take place on existing locations and expand upon them however are quite fun. you do stuff within them, its a pseudo-mission. [im willing to extend this to Lost Sectors for this example]
Patrol mode in marathon sounds sad. a Strike-adjacent activ ity sounds worth my time as an PVP player

I just want the devs to make the pve mode limited access. You get a ticket at every store reset and if you want more chances to attempt a pve mission you would need to complete stanard contracts to get more. This way people that prefer the pve only would have reason to do pvevp.

if destiny had added a 6v6 extraction mode similar to "advanced capture the flag", it wouldn't be marathon
and marathon adding (what will most likely be quest-controlled pve zones) pve elements does not make it destiny either

destiny has run its course, the original story started in the 2013 beta is complete, the eververse shop is completely tapped, from a business standpoint, it was going dry
is marathon better? actually, the last 2 weeks it has had even less retention than destiny 2

ULTRA PRO TIP : SHADOW BUFF / NERF !!

prior to the last patch, if you were "DBNO", bots no longer fired at you (so you can self rez or move to allies)
sometimes they would put the sucker-ropes on you, but if your DBNO was increased, you'd be fine

as of this patch, bots keep shooting at you while you are DBNO, which means that you can no longer self rez around bots
this also means that ROOKS can't "down themselves" on an exfil while the timer is up to protect themselves
it also means that all bots need to be cleared from a CRYO final exfil or you'll die on the plate

the shadow change was pushed so fast and rushed, they will even continue to shoot your body after you are dead and terminated from the match
sometimes the simple recruits will still sucker-rope you, but not often

I’ve had several safe downed exfils near bots since patch day, even explained to a friend that they don’t do that and I haven’t seen this change when they could have easily killed my allies.

I have a question about the number of ranking points lost. Do you lose more points if you're with teammates who have higher-ranked holotags? Or if everyone has bronze holotags, in which case you'd theoretically only lose 600 points if you dont exfil but do your teammates' lost points also count when you lose?

I played so much forge in 3 and reach... I had a map series I called maze of death that was intended to be collaborative and the map was your opponent instead of other players. There was one path to victory and all others led to death, usually with funny, unusual, or absurd ways to die. Mostly branching paths instead of a literal maze though. There was one in Reach where the final section was an actual short maze but the walls were made of invisible kill walls. The intent was that as enough people figured out the way to get there, you would start to see the borders because they would be outlined with bodies.

Soectre highkey better cuz bots stop shooting and controller lose aim assist upon break. Reinforced heals faster, but panaceas are already fast enough with a spectre that it doesn’t matter that much. I love pairing reinforced with regen v5, but use spectre otherwise

Yea If clearing cache and resetting doesn’t work I would try to reinstall gpu drivers and verify steam files and if that doesn’t work I’d roll back windows to when I think it works last or just wipe everything and redownload windows if I get annoyed enough

I noticed a new PA like announcement when approaching a POI in the game. Unauthorized runner entering bla bla. Is that a new addition? Is it only in solo play? I just realized that the damage report when you get eliminated doesn't actually show the damage each contributor did. It show how much hp each contributor deducted in total. If it show raw damage numbers then people would see numbers well above 200 when they get killed by a mizzy on a purple shield but the number is just 200.

All the cache does is make it easier for ur pc to pull up task it does on a regular basis but sometimes it holds old data that interferes with new data
