what stats should I focus on when playing as assassin and destroyer?
For Destroyer, heat capacity is probably the main focus, since so many of your combat mobility burns through your heat.
For Assassin, I personally think maxing knife damage with Knife Fight is a scam unless youāre specifically going for knife cores. Like tbh if you just get Strike Kit 3, that usually hits the necessary breakpoints once you consider the Arachne upgrades. Iād recommend tac recovery to get as many cloaks as possible.
And then thereās a bunch of stats that are just generically useful like Agility, Self-Repair, and Revive
Destroyer Main here: focus on heat. You are gonna be dashing and charging a lot in matches and it burns through your heat quick, definitely focus on that, you donāt have to worry about any kind of damage cores or anything like that because Search and Destroy is already OP enough as is

As for Assassin, idk, youāre gonna have to get a certified Assassin guy on that one, I never play him
Assassin, melee is good, ability cd stuff is also good, if you have to decide I'd say tactical > prime. Agility so you can move around faster while invis.
do you use search and destroy for pvp or pve?
Both. I use Search and Destroy for PVE when there are UESC commanders to take down and use it for PVP when thereās a Runner
You have to learn that Search and Destroy needs to be used to get an advantage over an enemy you donāt think you can kill with just your green Bully alone
I am unable to utilise Search and Destroy for PvP it seems, just cant seem to get value when I pop it. Though still am learning the shell

Not a destroyer main but play with a few of them. S&D in PvP scenarios works best with the right weapon and positioning. Fast rate of fire, a clear line of sight, and getting the drop on your enemies are all important. So an LMG with a shield on a map like Dire Marsh is EXCELLENT for S&D. But TBH, to me it seems like the ability is generally not that well suited to PvP because Destroyer really shines at closer range, and S&D is better when you are more at mid range
I'm suspecting largely using SND for pvp stuff and seeing through smokes, yeah
It gives a visual queue if someone is in los so i use it for that. Also its nice if u get an off angle and get to pelt shots into the enemy
Yea sounds like you have the right idea. People use smokes to try to give cover in wider open spaces or long corridors, and assassins use it to move forward and push. So if the enemy smokes, you can use your dash to get back and create midrange space, then smash S&D straight into thje smoke (especially if you have thermal sights).

There are pretty heavy diminishing returns on Prime Recovery (and probably Tactical) so I wouldnāt necessarily try to max it out. The difference between 85 and 100 Prime Recovery on Recon scan is 10s (130s and 120s).
Having both Sekiguchi upgrades for Prime Recovery gives you 60 and then 5 from base stats puts you at 65, which is 145s for scan
Honestly playing the free kit mode made me realize that I didnāt really need any more than that. Obviously for Cryo youād want to hit as high as possible but for the other maps 65 was sufficient

When building out a destroyer, what stats should I focus on? Agility, because its at 0 and hes clunky? Heat cap so I can sprint and boost more? I usually try to split between those but I feel like I'm still missing something.
ive been trying more heat cap, but i mainly run agi and repair speed since u can just buy it off traders. if i do actually get the heat capacity pieces (solidstance or distance runner for legs, thickskull/sprintkit for head), theres this white core that gives u agi for killing stuff and u lose it when u go down

Shooting them is fair, but I have my doubts that everyone would be quite so proactive. Besides, they don't need to search them for @robust coral 's idea, just get near enough that the trapping player can shoot one from somewhere nearby and detonate the group
And I do think enough players would at least come over to have a look that it would get people occasionally... solely because of the novelty

I mean it's ratty as hell, but effective. A recon probably would have sussed them out. It is a hell of a way to start off a fight though.

I actually watched it live. There are multiple recons that ultimately die to it. The main thing is that even if you see three players sitting near panopticon, your first thought is probably not that theyāve booby-trapped the door.
But obviously once players became aware of this strategy, it becomes a lot harder to actually do.
The signal jam is like 1sec, so it doesnāt really persist after youāve slid. Itās good to help you disengage, but I wouldnāt rely on it as a strategy if you want to actively be shooting back in a firefight.

I tend to run the 3S's Sprint Kit, Survival and Strike Kit, All V4
I feel like the good effects are hard to come across so I aim for stats most of the time. I do try and stock the equipment/ping mods when I can. Max heat/revive/repair are usually my starting point.

I got a gold misriah the other day and thinking a bit how best to bling it out, and thinking that ābig mag + circuit tracersā would be a particularly fun combo ⦠if it is the case that CT is, like, āreturns 20%, or 30% of your mag, whatever your mag size isā.
Iāve only dabbled with CT for machine guns and always been rather amused at how much it tops up the mag just shooting bots, but never checked what the math is
From the 4/14 patch notes it's a 5% ammo refund at common, 40% at superior, internal CD of 1s on the effect

The Weapon stats screen is a bit weird,
My assumption is, that the stats that feel like Headers to different sections of the stats screen) are stats that are in the same category as the stats below them
Additionally, there are certain stat names that feel lifted from past Bungie Shooters (Destiny), and stability is definitely one of them,
The stability stat is not listed in the weapons screen, but in Destiny, the stability stat did multiple things
My current assumption is that if a gun has lots of recoil, Iāll try to improve its stability
(2/2) As for Accuracy, Iād defer to someone else, because I always forget what cones are which, but I think itās a fair assumption that the Accuracy stat is related to Bullet Spread (Hip, ADS, Crouched), and Bloom, but honestly itās probably a separate stat???
Ngl I think augmented capacitors is close to a must. With the sekgen 1 upgrade, you can get like 80 prime off aug v4 and thatās pretty solid.
You should def be building at least moderately into prime recovery.
Agreed on survival kit. I feel like knife fight is overrated. Although Iād probably prioritize a good perk on KF or Helping/Hurting Hands like Enzyme Suppressants or Impact Ping over a bad perk on Survival.
I also also like strike kit on legs, but I think bionic or distance runner are both fine.
The 30-40 recovery makes a difference for aug, but the 15-20 you get from strike/hurting hands after is less relevant imo, especially if youāre constantly under energy amp
It does not go past the max on any weapon. It's capped at 7m on the WSTR no matter what

Nope, it's tied to line of sight so unless you (or your teammates with Ping v5) are looking at someone that got pinged by Recon ult it will not do anything
i tried the cannonball build but it lowkey sucks ngl, Im not 100% about this but i think it also makes the bullets hit walls way more easily so unless someones out in the open theyre way harder to hit
could also just be placebo tho, all I know is I took it off and started playing way better

br33 already is a pretty accurate gun, if you have a gold even when aiming in it likely is already very precise even when aiming
the gold mod just puts the cherry on top when not adsing

What do folks run on a green/blue/purple tier Bully SMG, in terms of Chip Mods, and what stats do you personally prioritize for the Bully? (Range, Stability, something else?)
range > everything else
the bully has strong enough base stats that the only real floodgate is range
you're generally just looking for a minimum of 30, which you can get with blue farsight
chip is usually QoL like pocket change or circuit tracers for ammo, but bits or slip is also pretty solid if that isn't an issue
To add to the whole "hipfiring is the point" bit, you can ADS into a wall with it and then hipfire just next to it to see the difference in the recoil pattern. It's nearly pinpoint on the crosshair dot across all three shots on hipfire, while the ADS still has the vertical bounce of the default recoil and requires active compensation to get anywhere near as tight.
But of course ADS is still useful if you need some extra visual precision and can pull the shots together effectively. It's a very versatile gun.

currently if i apply a blue Midsight optic on a base scar it remover 5.5 % of moving inaccuracy
if i apply instead a hipshot dampner and the Midsight opting the same midsight optic removes 12.3% movement inaccuracy

A lot of the bonuses seem to be percentage based (as in, percentage of gun's base value for a stat), which I think is the H-AR's case -- Far Reach gives a large range bonus to anything that slots it, but H-AR has huge base range, so the actual number in metres comes out higher.
The moving inaccuracy is a bit strange, though. Only intended behavior that comes to mind as a possibility is that the game calculates that bonus as multiplicative rather than additive.

I still rarely see anyone push control for tags at 2 mins. You can also just have one person rush control after getting clearance 1 and look for tags/monitors while the other people clear the 2nd spawn room
Staying in your spawn and waiting for the respawn to get clearance 2 is probably more suicidal than rushing control now. Mainly because teams that are rushing control hear you kill ads and then gank you

NEED TO ADD a way to build a kit and compress it into a sponsor kit size box, once itās compressed its like a free kit you cant change or add anything you cant take it apart. Its locked in as a kit. And you limit the amount of kits you can have in your stash, like 10 only or something. This would help so much

The only time Iād say the CE Tactical good, is as a silenced weapon, when you have nothing else, and even then, its role is definitely to be a weapon you bring in as a backup, and then replace with something else that you find during a run.
(Thereās a chance the dev team will buff the CE Tactical in a future season, but it currently lives in a space where itās designed to be a low cost weapon that is the start of someoneās base kit, and is for new players, as well as a Rook starting kit.)
^ It also doesnāt help that the CE Tactical has to compete with the V11 Punch, a weapon that also can be suppressed, and is a much better low cost weapon, that performs the CE Tactās roles, and has additional features

This season, Faction Vendors have specific weapon type focuses:
For Traxus:
- Assault Rifles
- Precision Rifles
- SMGs
- Volt Weapons
For Arachne:
- Machine Guns
- Railguns
- Shotguns
^ If the weapon youāre trying to get mods for does not share mods with weapons in the above categories (or youāre looking for a mod not in vendorās inventory) you probably will have to look in weapon mod containers out in the world
(There are some exceptions for this, like for example, getting the Lvl 1 Traxus upgrade with Rook, so that Rook spawns with a CE Tact or V11 Punch that has a suppressor mod and other mods, and then exfilling with those mods)

hardline gold gives heat cap and agi on headshots, copper head splits each shot into 3 rounds that do less dmg per bullet

Man, are Shield Mods on LMGs as good as they seem? Seems to block a lot of dmg
I have not checked to see if anyone has done testing on Machine Gun shield mechanics, but I am curious because it would be nice to know how much damage they take before breaking, and if there are any other mechanics that are good to know (and if higher rarity shield mods provide more benefits aside from weapon stats)
