The overall negative reviews are mainly because people aren't used to this look yet. I wasn't convinced at first either, but it has its charm. The second issue is that Bungie uses it in Marathon. It uses AI for character voices. However, I see less potential in Marathon, and I'm increasingly beginning to understand why objects lack textures and everything is glitchy. Also, the hardware requirements They're ridiculously small, which is great because more people can play. The price might be a bit high, but it's competitive with Arc Riders. So, for now, Bungie is doing everything right after Alpha testing, and I'll support them. My hearth ❤️

I feel like cross overs aren't meant to create immersion they are meant to re-kindle interest at the cost of some immersion. For some that's super bad and distasteful for others is a fantasy play.

The way a lot of people say "who would win iron man or batman" it's for the funsies. Since Fort was never immersive it was all fun they just go all in on it. Again for some it's slop for others it's fun.

So the moment someone says a cross-over doesn't make sense. No shit. Fun doesn't make sense most of the time it's a feeling not a logic. You're missing the point entirely.
