my friend got a dedicated server and I made a new character to go play there, but I wanted to give myself some gear... so I made it with my main character and left it in my own world. then i swapped characters and went to get it with the new character, and it froze up on me twice while I was in the crates getting stuff, but then I figured out what was actually doing it

now if I need to give my other character something I'll drop it off in the modded world instead of having him go to my main one. less chance of doing that again that way

Also, I kinda accidentally discovered a duplication glitch

If you like to tank, that is the build I use. Pikeman clothes, plague halberd, plague pistol, soul blade, blunderbus. Coffee and seafood platter. talents aimed at executioners grace. I got rid of bandages from my inventory, just use the odd emergency potion.

For my ship 'tank' keelhold (all heals are combat heals) + book 2 (healing if ship kill<50m), tempered cannons

not necessarily from a traveler's camp, but you should eventually find every weapon as far as I understand it, if you're completing all the POIs

I had a character I was playing on that at some point I decided to edit(new name and appearance in the character editor) and play some more with. Eventually I deleted the character, and the next time I logged into the game, the original version of the character prior to being edited was restored with all the same gear and inventory he had on him at the time

If you're good at perfect-parrying the enemy, the weapon gives you stacks of bonus damage, so effectively you get a free buff for spamming the "block/parry" button over and over.

one of the highest dps, too

I use the Halberd mostly and no just mobs in general no boss gets stunned.... To each his own - if you can manage without it fine, some think the halberd is boring and prefer more challenge of timing the parry. Each weapon in game is great if you have the build and gear to supplement it.

I used rapier n pistol on first play through, then saber and blunder, rifle and halbard is all i use now mostly - I enjoyed all the different builds, even the mace build can be fun done with right stats. I'm sure tweaking will be done, but players putting actual feedback into what mechanics they'd like to see tweaked and why helps.

Indeed. Well I can only hope that Wind Rose handles it well.. They did say "souls lite" in an interview so one would hope its not as hardcore as Elden Ring towards the end of it development cycle.. because the player base for those super hardcore or niche games is much smaller than some other categories. you need a big player base to survive usually

Only thing in this game that really gets you is ranged with only using a melee as you can’t force attacks you have to get close to break them. The other ones you walk backwards when they stop and you get free heavy and if you do heavy for stagger.. run backwards heavy, they’ll never attack other than the random heavy from them on random trigger but you can dodge that since already walking away. Gameplay should be more randomized and make it so you can’t abuse that. @rugged magnet well yeah of course. I mean it’s mainly the games that do early access though instead of full release that die due to wanting player feedback. And people get bored but I mean more of the side you get the option to play hardcore that’s what makes games interesting and less boring

Every mob mechanic is breakable in this game just by walking away so doesn’t really matter what weapon you use, bosses you can break on just sprinting. It really depends if someone bothered to even look at the fight starts…

Right and that is why I support the ideas being posted about end tier small combat ships.. for that build diversity or build options. I think that a small combat ship (whether it be a Caravel or something else) could be fundamentally different than a Frigate outside of speed. They could have less guns or smaller gun caliber. It was rare even in history for those small combat ships to go above 12 pounders. 18 was the max for the Dutch one.. and it only had 8 on each side (16 total)

im halfway through making a complete overhaul pers0n v er sus p3rs0n mod. The idea is that you spawn on a random island can join a faction. Other players are in the faction or not, i mean like smugglers, blackbeard crew. you claim islands on the map and can loot other people. when you claim an island the water around the island a certain radius becoems your factions and level 10 ships spawn
