Depends on how the game handles items that aren't interacted with. Most game engines with physics will "sleep" loose objects that aren't being interacted with, or otherwise aren't being moved by anything.

there's additional data that's come in from other players that may suggest Plaguewood and Tarwood respawn just at... very very low rates. So like... you chop down a whole large grove of 100-200 trees and... 1-2 trees respawn.

On a side note I'd really like it if the enemies in the swamps could have some sort of bright color to make them easier to see from a distance I tried sniping but at some point the buggers blend in with the surroundings
