The time it takes for a coconut tree to go from seed to producing fruit varies significantly depending on the variety of the tree and growing conditions. Generally, it takes anywhere from 3 to 10 years for a tree to begin bearing fruit.

Thousand Cuts is honestly a great, easy to use, weapon for the first 2/3 of the game - personally I swapped off it in favor of the Arboris Saber, but its def worth upgrading early on imo

Dodge is all about timing, just like a parry. You can dodge basically anything in the game honestly.

You need to hit the dodge when it flashes, that's when they won't be able to re-aim their charge. But you can also take distance, they don't run for far before trying to ram, and it's often a miss if you're far

closest would be that some folks reported reverted save progress when updating to the latest game version, due to Steam Cloud having a diff copy of the game than their PC - but thats very much a 1 time thing, and completely dependent on if you happen to have the mismatch

if you're concerned about that, just make a back up of your CURRENT world and then do the game update - worst case scenario something breaks and you just load the backup world in like you've downloaded someone else's save

My only real complaint about Windrose -- accidentally falling into an area you can't get out of or even build out of. I was loaded with loot so I had to build an entire pier structure out to the area, then build stairs/platforms to try to make the area safe so I could recover the loot. I still drowed a few more times in the process. 😭

Yeah the thing is, growin up i did a lot of pier fishin and one of the best catches there was barracuda, I used to catch and sell like 20+ a day to the restaurant at the end of the pier right next to where i was catching them.

the issue with florida is that anything remotely close to a beach is too shallow for big fish, so you really only get stuff like channel cats and snook off of bridges and piers. the occasional grouper or sheepshead is nice tho

I think the SSD bug is if you're server hosting. I ran process mon for 3 hours monitoring my writes for windrose and it was less than 1Gb and that was with me actually playing the game.

Its not a "scaling" thing.
It is a diminishing returns thing.
stats hit a soft cap at 20 points where your efficiency drops by roughly half, making it much harder to squeeze out extra power.
The game features a continuous, progressive decline in efficiency. Once you pass that 20-point mark, the DR simply continues to get worse with every point you add.

It's really more accurate to call it diminishing returns instead of scaling

right on the beach you can dig pretty deep. I actaully built my house on stone foundation, realized i needed to tear all the foundation out to put wood floors on first floor. While removing them I thought of just digging out the basement and it worked great

My tin foil hat theory is they had maybe 3 ish more months and they would’ve finished the full release of the game. But with so many people giving good feedback, they want to incorporate much more and change how stuff works now. I remember reading something about 6 months or something. from what i understand, higher the tier the better dmg scales with the stat so C would be low. A and S have small difference.
